CMREC Mechanical Engineering:

The Department of Mechanical Engineering in CMR Engineering College was established in the year 2010 with an intake of 240 students in undergraduate and 24 students in postgraduate course. The department has 15 laboratories which include Research and Development laboratory and Project laboratory. To cater to the needs of the students and faculties, the department has an exclusive collection of textbooks. NBA has accredited the department till the year 2022. It has experienced and well-qualified faculties. The department has 50 faculties, of which 6 faculties are Ph.D holders. All the classrooms of the department are converted to smart learning centers by equipping them with LCD projectors and computers with internet and LAN connectivity. In order to keep the faculties updated with the latest trends and developments, the department conducts frequent workshops, faculty development programs, and seminars. The faculties are motivated and encouraged to undertake R&D and Consultancy activities and the students are also involved through major and minor projects.

CMREC Electronics and Communication Engineering:

The Department of ECE in CMR College of Engineering & Technology was started in the academic year 2010-11. The annual intake of the department was 120 initially but currently, the annual intake is 240 students for undergraduate course. The postgraduate course was started in the academic year 20013-14 with an annual intake of 24 students. The undergraduate course is accredited by NBA for 3 academic years from 2019-20. The department is also approved by AICTE, Govt. of Telangana and is affiliated to JNTUH. There are 56 faculties in the department, and these faculties are the members of professional courses such as IEEE, ISTE, IETE, etc. ECMRON, a technical association of ECE has been formed by the alumni of the department to impart additional knowledge in ECE apart from the prescribed curriculum. The department also has well-equipped laboratories to gain technical skills and knowledge. Various symposiums, guest lectures, seminars, and workshops are organized by the department for the benefit of students and faculty members.

CMREC Computer Science and Engineering:

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering in CMR Engineering College Hyderabad was started in the year 2010 with an intake of 120 students. The department currently has an intake of 240 students. There are 6 professors, 8 associate professors, and 40 assistant professors. Accreditation from NBA was done in the year 2017. The department has 13 independent laboratories, Technology Incubation Center, and Research and Development lab. The laboratories and classrooms of the department are very spacious and are provided with the latest LCD screen displays and computer systems. Multimedia facility, Wi-Fi facility is also provided by the department. The department of CSE organizes various conferences, seminars, short term courses, and workshops to its students.
