Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria- 60% or above in 10+2 In 10+2 must be science. You have to qualify WBJEE or AIEEE with a valid rank. For this College the rank of joint exam must be in between 30000-40000
Fees & Scholarships : INR38000-INR410000 tuition fee per semester and hostel fee INR12000 per semester with dinner and lunch. One scholarship of half fees is available from college for economically poor students. Students bank loan is available here.

The admission can also be taken directly . I took the WBJEE to get into this college . The cut off for mechanical is generally rank up to 30000 .

Placements & Internships : The college took good care to arrange for internships for all the students in various technologies. The internship from college is offered during the session break after the sophomore year of our college. Internships for IT and CS students were offered from Globsyn and for the students of other departments, internships were offered from various companies in different work areas. For eg. the Electrical students were offered internships in Kolaghat Thermal power Plant, instrumentation students in Microprocessors/microcontrollers, TATA Chemicals, Electronics in BSNL, to name a few. As for campus recruitments, the major bulk was taken up by IT companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, ITC Infotech to name a few.
Academics & Faculty : Academics was of prime importance in our college. The faculty was very cooperative and they took good care in making us understand the subject matters. Classes were scheduled everyday and the faculty was pretty strict about the attendance. Assignments were given frequently to test our analytical ability at regular intervals. There were two to three series of tests and then came the university semester exams. There was one advantage of studying in a residential college, the teachers were available any time to clear our doubts. The environment was more like a cozy family rather than a strict school type.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Infrastructural facilities include an Administrative Building, College Buildings and buildings for Library, Computer Centre, Laboratories, Workshops, Staff Quarters, separate Hostels for boys and girls, play fields etc. Facilities such as spacious class rooms, well equipped state of the art laboratories, good Computer Centre with complete networking of the client machines through servers, a good air-conditioned library with Book Bank facility and sufficient stock of books and journals, a well equipped workshop, 10 Mbps internet connection with LAN/WiFi as well as a highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty are all conducive towards developing an atmosphere suitable for academic excellence.
Clubs & Associations : The college is high in extra curricular activities. The annual college cultural festival SPANDAN is celebrated for three days every year. The college also hosts the annual technical fest RESONANCE annually where students from different colleges come together and participate in the various activities. The college publishes its annual magazine the CORONA which speaks about all that has happened in the college since the last 1 year. Journals and papers published by our professors were also printed in the magazine for our use. The college has its own volleyball team, basketball team, crickte team and football team which participates in inter college competitions and have brought back loads of trophies. The college also celebrates its annual day on 23rd of September. Also Saraswati puja and Vishwakarma puja are two festivals which are celebrated by the students with lot of popm and glamour.
