(d) A student with outstanding caliber is provided with all the required textbooks and cash if the college authority is convinced to facilitate her further study.

AWARD FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE:

1.Gajendra Chandra Kalita Memorial Award 

A trust of a considerable amount donated by the prominent educationist Late Abalakanta Goswami and Sri Niranjan Kalita, Naren Kalita and Gobinda Kalita in memory of Late Gajendra Chandra Kalita (1929-1991), one of the founders of D.K.Girls' College has been constituted in 1992. From the yieldings of this trust awards are offered Annually in case as fixed by a duly constituted body to a student who (a) secures Highest Mark among the students appeared from our College with first Division in the H.S. Second year final examination and (b) secures Higher Marks in Major subject in the TDC part¬II Final Examination subject to a minimum of 55% marks . 

2. Bhupendra Kumar Chaudhury Memorial Award  :

A trust of a considerable amount donated by Dr. Lilabati Choudhury, Lecturer in Education, D.K.Girls' College. and her family in memory of her father, late Bhupendra Kumar Chaudhury, a real lover of learning and a resident of Kallapara in South Kamrup, has been constituted in 2000, in order to inspire the students of this college. From the yielding of this trust award is offered annually in cash to a student who secures minimum 75% marks in any subject in the H.S. second year Final Examination.

Students Aid Fund: 

D.K. Girls' College has a student's Aid Fund which has been established with the motto of providing financial help to poor and meritorious students. The Aid Fund committee prepares the list of deserving students after careful consideration of the applications and also fixes the amount to be offered to such applicants.
