Davangere University, established in 2009, is one of the youngest state universities in central Karnataka. It is a UGC-recognized university and is NAAC accredited. The college offers postgraduate programs in four faculties: Arts, Science & Technology, Commerce & Management, and Education. Admission 2024 is ongoing. Admission to courses is made based on entrance exams conducted by the university. It also accepts PGCET/ KEA/ CMAT entrance exams for admissions to MBA courses. 

Davangere University has 112 colleges affiliated with it, with one constituent college and one autonomous college. The lush green campus is spread over 72.14 acres. As the University firmly believes in the importance of research, conscious steps have been taken to set up research centers like University Scientific Instrumentation Centre, Food Processing Centre, Centre for Device Development, and IPR cell.

Davangere University Admission 

Davangere University, Admission 2024, is ongoing. Admission to courses is made based on entrance exams conducted by the university. It also accepts PGCET/ KEA/ CMAT entrance exams for admissions to MBA courses. Marks obtained by the candidate make the final selection of the candidate, at least 50 per cent of marks are required in the test, and the rest are the aggregate marks obtained in the relevant subjects at the qualifying degree examination being considered.
