The JJM Medical College is located in Davangere, Karnataka, and is one of the oldest medical colleges in the state being set up in 1965. Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences is associated with this university for its stands accreditation from the Medical Council of India (MCI) The college comes under the University of Health Sciences and offers an undergraduate medical program (MBBS) and post-graduate medical program (MD/MS) This college consisting modem classroom, well-equipped laboratories, library and hospital facilities for clinical exposure. The college provides courses at the undergraduate level including MBBS and postgraduate level including MD, and MS in different medical fields The college has requisite teaching aids, well-endowed laboratories, a library, and clinical facilities provided by a hospital. Explanation: JJM Medical College has a teaching hospital with 1200 beds, so it will be easy for the students to get practical training. MMBS students were admitted through the NEET UG test distance established by the candidates while MD/MS students were admitted through the NEET PG test Distance established in the test. JJMMC Courses

The fee structures of JJM Medical College, Davangere consist of Rs. 2,14,100 – Rs. 2,14,100 per annum based upon the course, specialization, and duration. At present, there are thirty-two PG courses in the college, comprising fourteen MD courses and ten PG diploma courses. We are pleased to announce that admissions are now open for the intakes of the academic year 2024-25. The college accepts NEET UG scores for admission, and the NEET PG and NEET SS for postgraduate students.

JJMMC Admission

JJM Medical College is a private medical college, established in the year 1965 at Davangere, Karnataka, India which is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) at Bangalore. The programs that are offered at the college include undergraduate level: MBBS, Masters in 14 disciplines, Masters of Surgery in 5 disciplines, and Diploma/PG Diploma in 11 disciplines. All the admission processes are carried out offline; for the MBBS course, the candidate must have, passed the 10+2 level with 50% for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and should have taken the NEET UG examination. For MD and MS they need MBBS with 50% marks, NEET PG qualification is compulsory and for Diploma and PG Diploma courses, there is merit in the qualifying examination. The college also allows 5% discretion to the minimum percentage of eligibility for admission in SC/ST candidates to offer equal opportunity to such deserving candidates to pursue the best medical college.

JJMMC MBBS Admission 2024

JJM Medical College provides a course of MBBS at the undergraduate level with a taking capacity of 245. The requirements of the pass standard and the qualification insist on the 10+2 passed in the Science stream with physics, chemistry, biology, and English as the examination subjects witha minimum of 50 percent of total marks. Candidates getting a valid score in K-CET or NEET-UG get admission to the MBBS program in the JJMC.

Note : All students who wish to seek admission to undergraduate institutions must be at least 17 years of age in the calendar year of admission. 50% of the MBBS seats are booked under the Karnataka State Quota and the other 50% are open for the Management Quota. Candidates who have passed the entrance level examination known as NEET-UG will not sit for K-CET examination. For admission in K-SCHOOL, pass by scoring 50% marks in K-CET & mandatory qualification required is English.

JJMMC Eligibility Criteria

Admission to MBBS is based on NEET UG, while Diploma and PG Diploma admission is based on merit. Furthermore, the criteria for MD and MS programmes is MBBS from a recognised institute, with admission based on the candidate's NEET PG score. The eligibility criteria for some courses are as follows

• The candidates must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
• The candidates must have obtained the minimum required to rank in NEET UG / MHCET.

MD/MS  Eligibility Criteria 

• The candidates must have passed MBBS with 50% marks in the relevant stream
• The candidates must have obtained a valid score in NEET PG. 

PG Diploma Eligibility Criteria     

• The candidate should have completed MBBS.
• The candidates must have obtained a valid score in NEET PG.

JJM Medical College is located on a campus spread over 25 acres of land with excellent infrastructural facilities for training the students. It has two separate blocks, the Administrative block and the pre-clinical block. The Administrative block has the chambers of the Principal and Director, a board room, a college office, examination hall Departments of Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. The Pre-Clinical block houses the departments of Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry and Community Medicine. The Library and Information Center is situated on the III and IV floor of the OPD Block.
