Eligibility Criteria for BE:
- Candidates should have passed (10+2) or equivalent examination in the first attempt with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as a specialization for Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore admissions.
- Candidates should have secured at least 45% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology/ Computer science/ Electronics in (10+2) level.
Admission Procedure:
- Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering admission is conducted solely on the basis of qualifying examination or merit in the written examination conducted by the college itself.
- The written test is conducted by the university for candidates and rank list is obtained. On the basis of this rank, the candidate will appear for admission carried out through single window counseling process.

Placements & Internships : Companies like Microsoft, Infosys, Deloitte, Cisco, HCL and a lot more are coming for campus hiring.Average salary figures is about 12 L/annum. The highest salary figure goes to 22-24 L/annum.The college conducts several alumni meetings under various groups for current students for better guidance about the future. The alumni of DSCE is working in many different platforms, software and theatres as well.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : For the admission procedure, there are two ways: KCET (for KARNATAKA students) and COMED-K (for NON-KARNATAKA students). I opted for COMED-K entrance examination. For COMED-K, the ranking should be under 50k.
Fees & Scholarships : Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, [DSCE] Bangalore Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 2.9 lakh per year. The scholarship for students (mostly native students) via COMED-K and KCET is different. It is high for COMED-K students (around 1-2L) but affordable for KCET students (around 60k-70k). Students can opt for loan criteria from any bank. However, all the accounts of DSCE is linked with Vijaya Bank.
Academics & Faculty : The opening timing of the college is sharp at 9am which continues to be till 5pm, but it depends on how many hours classes are there. Although from the 2nd year onwards, there will be 2 day batch labs which will be conducted in the second half of the day which goes mostly from 2 pm - 4.30 pm. The quality as well as method of teaching is very good as the college provides interactive and involvement classes. Overall experience is good with 3 theory internals, 1 lab internal, 1 lab external and finally the sem end.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 2 hostels for boys (Indian and NRI) and 2 hostels for girls (With mess and Without mess). PGs near colleges are way cheaper than hostel fees. Its around 5-6k/month for single bed, one cupboard and food - 4 times a day. Food quality is good in the hostel mess and the meal cost is included in the hostel fees. The quality of classrooms, labs, libraries, dining halls are good, but the wi-fi connection is very slow.
Clubs & Associations : There are many clubs inside campus including tech and non-tech activities. Sports activities, department fests, college fest (Furore and Vibrations) are conducted for students gathering and enjoyment. In general, life in college is good.

Placements & Internships : The placement of the ISE department it's good. About 95% of students get placed every year, one of my senior got placed with a salary package of INR 22 LPA. The key companies that hire from our campus are companies Accenture, Infosys, Microsoft, LTI, and ORACLE.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : There are two exams COMEDK and CET. For admission, you have to secure atleast 5000 ranks.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The infrastructure of DSCE is much better than other colleges. There are mainly two hostels for boys and one hostel for girls. The quality of the food offered is good.
Clubs & Associations : There is a CPA association that stands for the Center of Performing Arts, which has many clubs like dancing, singing, and other activities. The most popular fest organized is FURORE.

Placements & Internships : Actually, I'm in 2nd year now so the internships begin from next year so from what I heard from my senior is there a numerous company that takes internships (e.g- GE Healthcare). One can even intern with Hospitals as our course is widely based on it. If one has a cgpa of above 8.5 or above they are likely to get during campus selection.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : My course is Medical Electronics, one can get to this course by writing CET(COMMON ENTRANCE TEST) or COMED-K, To get this course one must have to clear 10+2 or equivalent, during the year 2017 the cutoff was 20k. So if u get within 15k you are likely to get this course.
Fees & Scholarships : Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, [DSCE] Bangalore Bachelor of Engineering [BE] Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 50K. If you get here though COMED-K or Management it will most likely exceed 2 lakh. The scholarship is only for SC, ST, and OBC. Yes, the loan is required as one cannot afford 2 lakh fee for 4 years one can always take a student loan. Banks like SBI, HDFC, etc. Provide loan to students.
Academics & Faculty : The first year of the college was tough to many classes (unnecessary subjects which don't require credit) later on the timings were adjustable. Improvement required in the field of teaching is not much-experienced. faculty lack in the quality of teaching. The overall experience is average.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is 4 hostel (2 for boys and 2 for girls one of them including for NRI). The hostels are neat and have a good atmosphere. The hostel fee is around 8.5k including 3 times a day meal. There is a wide range of PGs around the college (approx.8k per month). The College has the best infrastructure. it is also the first college in Bangalore to have a Wi-Fi facility.
Clubs & Associations : There are numerous clubs from sports to maths there are many events going around the campus. We have a lot of cultural event in our college. The college supports the students for their cultural activity.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : You can get admission in DSCE via CET/COMED-K/MANAGEMENT. I got in through management seat and my specialization is information science. If you want to get in through CET your rank should be below 6000 for information science.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Excellent infrastructure is available. There are 2 kinds of hostels - Indian hostel and the NRI hostel. There is a huge auditorium available for various programs. There are many other amenities available such as gym, parking, cafeteria, football field, basketball court, tennis court. The classrooms and labs are well equipped.
Clubs & Associations : Apart from academics, the college supports various non-academic activities like cultural fests,tech fests,movie promotions.There are teams for each department such as the cultural team,technological team,sports team.College life is very enjoyable and the evnivorment and ambience is very good.
