Academics & Faculty : The daily routine academic calendar in Delhi School of Management [DSM], Delhi Technological University is great, It follows the semester system just like an engineering college and adds up seminars, events and guest lectures in additional timing without disturbing the academics. The academics are fair to hostelers and stay-at-home students likewise. There are 3+3 available courses out of which each student can select 1 as the major course and 1 as the technical course as their specialised field of study. The faculty is good and makes sure that the students get the right perspective on the concepts and appropriately relates them to the present market scenario.  The teaching methodology is a mix of both audio-visual and demonstrations followed by discussions on the current topics and lectures.Professors are helpful and are easily accessible outside classes. The Class representatives do a superb job, connecting students with teachers effectively. 

Placements & Internships : I've been a part of the placement team at my school which gave me a lot of industrial exposure. Also being a part of various short-term projects and internships on the side kept me updated with the latest trends and happenings in the market. The school provides with a plethora of opportunities to keep oneself updated with the market scenario abreast with academics. Market majors like iInfosys TCS , E&Y , Barclays , Michelin , UHG hired from the campus for internship this year. Average salary for the each specialization varies according to the market scenario. For the current year it was 7-8lacs (approx.) and the highest international package offered was 19 lacs (approx.). The Delhi School of Management [DSM], Delhi Technological University being at the heart of the country has students from all over the country and hence makes for a vast and diversified alumni network.
