Admission Process:

• This is to inform all concerned that admissions for Undergraduate B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com. Honors & General Courses for the Academic Session 2021-2022 will be conducted exclusively through the online process, as per Order No. 706-Edn(CS)/10M-95/14 dated 13th July 2021 issued by the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal.

• Admissions will be based solely on the merit list. Students are advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria and admission procedures before filling out the online application form.
• Once the application form is submitted, it cannot be modified.
• Only students from the current year (2021) are eligible to apply for UG courses.
• Admission fees should be paid online; physical payment at the college is not permitted.
• A maximum of 4 courses can be applied for. There are no application fees for submitting the online form or uploading documents.
• The following documents must be uploaded online during the admission process:
• Recent passport-sized color photo
• Signature of the applicant
• 10+2 mark sheet
• Class 10 admit card
• Caste certificate (issued by the Government of West Bengal) for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B (if applicable)
• PH certificate from a government-recognized authority (if applicable)
• Eligibility criteria for Honours courses: 45% in the specific subject with 50% in total or 55% in the subject. For SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates, eligibility follows the University of Calcutta's rules.
• Document verification will occur only when students attend classes. If any discrepancies are found between the submitted documents and the details provided in the online application, the admission will be canceled. Please note: physical submission and verification of forms at the college premises will not take place.

Admission Criteria:

• Students who studied 'Environmental Science' as an elective subject at the Higher Secondary level, as reflected in their results, will have Environmental Science considered for the merit list for admission to UG Honours and General courses in the 2021-2022 academic session. However, students who had 'Environmental Studies' as a compulsory subject at the HS level will not have it considered as an eligible subject for the merit list, as per the guidelines set by the University of Calcutta.
• Students who have completed their 10+2 through the "West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education and Training" are eligible to apply solely for the B.A. General Course.
• Candidates who have completed the 10+2 Vocational Course with a specialization in "Business Commerce" are eligible to apply exclusively for the B.Com. General Course.
