NTRUHS was founded in 1986 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission [UGC]. Its sole aim was to impart quality education, training, and research in the field of allopathic and Indian systems of Medicine, Dentistry, and Nursing. All course admissions are solely determined by entrance exams. NEET UG scores are used to evaluate admission to MBBS programs, whereas NEET PG scores are taken into account for MD, MS, and diploma programs.

The university is expanding its services in super-speciality in modern medicine and other faculties and its motto is Vaidya Narayana Hari. It has strived hard to bring all the disciplines under one single roof namely modern medicine, ancient Indian systems of medicine, and allied health sciences like dentistry, physiotherapy, nursing, and paramedical sciences.

NTRUHS Admission 2024

NTRUHS Admission 2022 is currently open. Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada offers admission to UG, PG, Super-speciality, M.Phil, and Ph.D., degrees in Medical courses with various specializations to design and create academically and technically proficient professionals. The admission process requires the candidate to hold good scores in the NEET UG entrance exams.

NTRUHS Eligibility Criteria

To apply for NTRUHS admission, candidates are required to qualify in the entrance examinations for different courses followed by counseling. Online application for the entrance exams can be done by visiting the official website of the conducting bodies. The application process varies as per the courses & the entrance exams accepted for admission.

MBBS Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually
• Candidates should have a valid score in the NEET UG exam.

BDS Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology [Botany/ Zoology] and English with a 50% score[45% aggregate for OC/ PH candidates and 40% aggregate in case of SC/ ST/ BC candidates]
• Candidates should have a valid score in the NEET UG exam.

B.Sc Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 with 45% aggregate [40% aggregate in case of SC/ ST/ OBC candidates] with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects from any recognized board.
• Candidates should have a valid score in AP EAMCET.

NTRUHS Cutoff

NTRUHS Cutoff 2022 is yet to be released. Admission to MBBS is based on NEET, and MD/MS is based on PG NEET. As per previous year trends, the NEET UG cutoff 2022 will be between 9200-17000 for the general category.

NTRUHS Scholarships

NTRUHS provides MBBS/BDS students and others pursuing degrees in specializations like Ayush, Nursing, and Physiotherapy with Undergraduate Student Research Scholarships. These NTRUHS scholarships were just introduced in 2020, and they will be awarded to roughly 500 students in a variety of courses.

NTRUHS Result

NTRUHS officials announced the NTRUHS 2022 results for UG, PG, diploma, certificate, and PhD programs on the official portal. Students have to enter their hall ticket number to view their total marks in the desired examination. The NTRUHS result card is available in PDF format and will provide the roll numbers of the passing candidates. Once the results have been declared, students should carefully verify the grades. If any student is unhappy with these grades, they can ask for a revaluation/recheck of answer papers. The revaluation applications can be accessed from the NTR University official website.
