The department of computer engineering was established in the year 1984 with a prime intake of 60 which is 120 at present. DY Patil College Pune Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering:

Electronics and Telecommunication is a branch of engineering which includes various principles and practicals related to designing the telecommunications devices. Dr. DY Patil College Pune started this course to provide students with a deep understanding and implementation of principles of electronics and telecommunication. Students are also trained on various software like Multisim, Proteus, Microwind and a programming language such as C and hardware descriptive language such as VHDL.

DY Patil College Pune Instrumentation and  Control Engineering:

This department is established in the year of 1993 for the UG program. It is affiliated to Sabitribai Phule Pune University. The department was recognized by The National Board of Accreditation w.e.f 05/08/2013 for two years. This department fully focused on practical education to have a feel of industry, laboratories that are well equipped with a boiler, multi-flow loop, heat exchanger, PLC, SCADA in process instrumentation lab. The instrumentation basics regarding sensors and associated processing are covered in transducer and electronics lab. Every semester students go through an industrial visit to set a bridge between academic institutions and industries. The final year students are also motivated to do projects in core industries.

DY Patil College Pune Mechanical Engineering:

The Mechanical Engineering department was established in the year 1984. This department consists of highly qualified and competent faculties. Laboratories are kept modernized from time to time through funds that are received under various research proposals and MODROB schemes of AICTE and the University of Pune. This department encourages newly recruited faculties to develop teaching skills through the Learning Resource Centre. Since the college is in the industrial belt of major machine tools and automobile industries, industry-institute interaction is well-established. The college department is running various value-added courses such as Ansys, Catia, Hypermesh, 3DPLM, Autodesk, MatLab, Abacus, Six Sigma, SEED INFOTECH, and Japanese language for the knowledge.

This department was started in the year 2002 with an intake of 30 students, currently, it is 60. Production-Sandwich includes one year of industrial training as a part of academics. This industrial training gives a brief idea about practical work in the industry. The postgraduate admission process starts by filling up the online application form on the official website of www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in. A total of 20% of seats will be reserved for college management for admission. The fees will be acceptable only through net banking by internet payment, credit, and debit card payment gateway for which service charge will be applicable. Applicants should sign on the printout of the online filled application form and attached the required attested copies of documents. Applicants should report face to face to the ARC for affirmation of Application structure along with attested true copies and original documents for verification as the schedule.
