Lateral Entry to 2nd Year (Mechanical Engineering)	i) The candidate must be an Indian National. ii) Must have completed a minimum 2/3-year (Lateral Entry) Diploma in Engineering/Technology with at least 45% marks (40% for candidates from reserved categories, Economically Weaker Sections, and Persons with Disabilities from Maharashtra) from an AICTE or government-approved institution, or its equivalent. OR iii) Must have passed a B.Sc. degree from a UGC or AIU-recognized university with at least 45% marks (40% for candidates from reserved categories, Economically Weaker Sections, and Persons with Disabilities from Maharashtra) and HSC or equivalent with Mathematics. OR iv) Must have completed a 3-year D.Voc. in the same or related sector.	-
BCA	i) Completed 10+2 or an equivalent exam from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories as per Maharashtra state rules), or an equivalent grade. ii) OR, completed a Diploma in Commercial Practice or its equivalent. Bachelors in Design	Must have completed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories as per Maharashtra state rules), or equivalent grade. OR Must have passed a Diploma/D.Voc. in the same or related field.	Eligible based on valid scores in NID-DAT, UCEED, or other equivalent exams, followed by a Personal Interview with the DYPIU School of Design faculty. A portfolio of design works is required.
Bachelor of Fine Arts	Completion of 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories as per Maharashtra state rules), or equivalent grade. OR Completion of a Diploma/D.Voc. in the same or related field.	Valid scores in MAH AAC CET (Maharashtra Applied Arts and Crafts Common Entrance Test) or other equivalent exams, followed by a Personal Interview with the DYPIU School of Design faculty. A portfolio showcasing art works is required.
Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication	Completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories as per Maharashtra state rules), or equivalent grade.	Personal Interaction conducted by DYPIU.
Master of Computer Applications	A completed undergraduate degree (e.g., B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc./B.Com./B.A./B.Voc./BCA/BBA) with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduate level, and a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories as per Maharashtra state rules). DY Patil International University Admissions

Stage 1:

Candidates must register on the Application Portal, verify their phone number with OTP, and fill out the application form. After uploading the required documents, they pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000/- and receive a receipt. Once verified, candidates attend the DYPIU Entrance Test/Personal Interview. Shortlisted candidates will receive a Digital Provisional Admission Offer. To accept, candidates must pay the provisional admission fee by the specified deadline; failure to do so will cancel the offer. After payment, they will receive login credentials for the University Management System (UMS).

Stage 2:

Candidates must upload any remaining documents and complete the necessary details on UMS. The unique UMS Registration Number (URN) must be used in all future communications. After this step, a provisional admission letter will be issued.

Stage 3:

Final admission is confirmed after original document verification. A Permanent Registration Number (PRN) and student ID will be provided. Both students and parents must submit an online "Anti-Ragging Undertaking." The University reserves the right to cancel admission if eligibility requirements or deadlines are not met. Candidates must submit original documents on their first visit to campus. Application fees should be paid online.
