Front Office : This department trains the students for basic procedure of receiving the guest, check in and check out procedure, and students are given hands-on training on all aspects of Accommodation management.
Basic Training Kitchen : Our Basic Training Kitchen is a well equipped kitchen to impart basic culinary skills. Each student is given ample opportunity to apply the knowledge and transfer it to multi-dimensional skill in preparing as well as presenting.
Quantity Training Kitchen : This Kitchen deals with quantity food preparation on a mass scale. Knowledge of the multitude of ingredients used to prepare items from different regional cuisines of India , their nutritional values, effects of different cooking methods of each ingredient – are practiced in the quantity training kitchen.
Advanced Training Kitchen : This kitchen deals with large section national and international cuisine. Here students learn more continental cuisine, molecular cuisine, plate presentation etc.
Bakery and confectionery : This department gives basic training for the students who aspire to develop as Bakery chefs and are encouraged to display their skills in ice-carving, chocolate making, butter-sculpture, sugar craft, bread-making, cake decoration.
Training Restaurant : This come under Food & Beverage Service department which trains the students in the technique and art of serving and selling food and beverage. It is well designed and highly standardized restaurant with a training bar. Here students are taught table manners other food and beverage technicalities.
Housekeeping : In this department the students are given hands-on training in cleaning different areas with a vast range of surfaces on floors, walls and furniture and fixtures. The complex management of guest’s laundry, uniform of all members of staff and the multitude of linen and guest-room supplies are integral part of the syllabus. The students are trained in the science and aesthetics of horticultural development and flower arrangements to create a scenically attractive environment all around. Interior Decoration, with both ancient and modern concepts, is another area where student’s skills are developed by classroom training and a series of field visits.
Computer lab : The Institute has a well-equipped state-of-the-art Computer Lab which can accommodate at least 20 students. Individual PC stations help enable the faculty to focus on the learning outcomes of each student separately and to provide corrective coaching for the desired level of practice and perfection.LCD Projectors, Multimedia, CDs on each subject area – these are some of the audio-visual aids used extensively by the faculty to ensure a more effective learning environment for the students.
