Faculty of Management Studies was established in the year 1968 as a Department in the Faculty of Commerce. Since its initiation, the university produced more than 4500 brilliant and dynamic managers who are presently holding renowned positions in reputed business organizations across the globe. All the programmes offered by the institute are approved by All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE] and recognized by the University Grants Commission [UGC]. It has also been ranked by the National Institutional Ranking Framework [NIRF].
Visualizing the expanding requirement for conferring quality management education and research, the University changed the Department of Management Studies to an autonomous Faculty of Management Studies in the year 1984. Faculty of Management studies aims at imparting need-based education to promising young talents aspiring to carve their careers in management.
