Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering (FRCRCE), located in Bandra, Mumbai, was established in 1984 under the guidance of the Agnel Ashram Fathers. B.Tech Admission Process

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

• Eligibility

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent).
• The candidate should have studied English, Physics, Mathematics, and either Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or Technical/Vocational subjects.
• The candidate should have secured at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

• Selection Criteria

• The candidate must appear for and qualify in either JEE Main or MHT-CET, depending on the course and eligibility criteria.

How to Apply for JEE-Main

Candidates eligible for admission must take the JEE-Main exam. Below is the application process

• Create an account by registering for the online application form.
3. Note the Application Number
• A system-generated application number will be provided. Make a note of it for future reference.
4. Create a Password
• Choose a password for your account and log in.
5. Fill Out the Application Form
• Complete the form with the necessary personal and academic details.
6. Upload Required Documents
• Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature as per the given specifications.
7. Pay the Application Fee
• The application fee is INR 650 (INR 325 for reserved categories). Payment can be made via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Paytm.
8. Print the Application Form
• After submission, keep a printout of the completed application form for future reference.

CAP Registration Procedure

1. Click on "Registration"
• Visit the designated portal for CAP registration.
2. Select Nationality
• Choose your nationality from the options.
3. Submit Details
• Enter your personal and academic details (Class 10, Class 12, and MHT-CET 2023 related information).
4. Create a Password
• Set a password for your CAP portal.
5. Enter Candidature Type
• Specify the type of candidature you belong to.
6. Upload Scanned Documents
• Submit scanned photographs and signatures according to the prescribed guidelines.
7. Pay the Counselling Fee
• Pay the counselling fee of INR 800 online.
8. Print the Application Form
• Take a printout of the CAP registration form. This will be needed for verification at the facilitation centre.

M.Tech Admission Process

Eligibility & Selection Criteria for M.Tech Admission

• Educational Qualification: Must have passed a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field of Engineering/Technology.
• Minimum Marks: Should have secured a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates).
• GATE Score: Must have obtained a valid score in the GATE examination.
• Seat Allocation: Seat allotments will be done through CAP counselling.

• Enter your name, email ID, and mobile number to register for the exam.

• Receive Enrollment ID

• After submission, an enrolment ID will be sent to your mobile number.

• Complete the application form with all required details.

• Pay the Application Fee

• The application fee is INR 1,500 (INR 750 for women and reserved category candidates). Payment can be made online.

• Download and Print the Form

• After submitting the application, download the form and keep a printout for future reference.

Phd Admission Process

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum Marks: A minimum of 55% marks in the last qualifying examination (50% for reserved categories or differently-abled candidates).
• Pre-Entrance Test (PET): Candidates must appear for and qualify in the Pre-Entrance Test (PET).
• Exemption from PET: Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET, UGC-CSIR, ISLET, GATE, or have completed MPhil from a recognized university, or hold a PhD degree, are exempt from the PET.
• Selection Process: The selection will be based on 70% weightage to the PET score and 30% weightage to the interview performance.
