Placements & Internships : The positive attitude of our students towards placement opportunities has put GMIT on the map of West Bengal as a fruitful destination for the core industries to recruit fresh engineers. While the number of jobs in the core sector shrinks day by day, GMIT has consistently secured a decent number of opportunities for its students. Our students have also successfully secured job opportunities in top IT companies such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Indusnet, etc. Salary is average to medium. It basically depends on student performance and ability to crack mnc companies. Around 2-4 lakh salary.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : 1) Admission to the B.Tech program under MAKAUT is based on the merit standing of applicants in the entrance exam like WBJEE conducted by the Govt. of West Bengal and JEE MAIN. 2) 85 % of the total intake is through WBJEE, and 15 % is through JEE MAIN, depending on the qualified rank as per AICTE and MAKAUT. 3) Candidates must have a minimum of 45% marks in Class 12 with the combination of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) for the general category and 40% for the reserved category. 4) Candidates must secure pass marks in English. 5) Candidates may take admission either through the process of WBJEEB counseling or can take direct/provisional admission based on HS results and the rank obtained in WBJEE/JEE MAIN.
Academics & Faculty : Here daily classes, labs are taken as usual projects and assignment are given to students. Class time is at 10:15 am. Teaching Quality is quite good and faculty are friendly and helps lot. Overall exprience is quite good .
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Labs, classrooms, and libraries are well furnished. Our campus is lush green. The food in the mess, canteen, and hostel is very healthy and tastes good. Our college also has a gym for the fitness of students.
Clubs & Associations : Every year our college celebrates different kinds of events, fests, and sports with the help of faculty members. DKB memorial cup is a very well-known program arranged in our college.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : In addition, students must score at least 50% marks in Class 12 to be eligible for B. Jelet. The official notice has declared that ECE Cut Off for Prelims 2020. Only those candidates who scored above the Prelims cutoff had qualified for the Mains stage of the exam.
Fees & Scholarships : The fee is 1.32 lakh. For the Swami Vivekananda scholarship, 75% number is required for getting a scholarship. No, loans are not needed.
Academics & Faculty : Every class duration is 40 minutes. Exams have 4 assessments, cA1, Ca2, ca3, and ca4, with lots of assignments. Every teacher is very friendly and helpful and also their technique is very good and understandable. My overall experience is good.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : One hostel and this is a boys hostel, and the hostel fee per month is 4k. There are lots of pgs available outside the college, and I don't have any idea about the fees of pgs. Classrooms are ok, not so good, and labs are good, libraries are also ok.
Clubs & Associations : Student society is very good. The main festival is a fest. Sports are very good. Tech fest is very good. The college life is very good, funny, and enjoyable.

Fees & Scholarships : 1.R.s46400/- is my course fee per year.. 2. Swami Vivekananda scholarship and Gabanna scholarship are available to students. 3. Average n.o to get a scholarship is 60% for Swami Vivekananda and 50% for Gabanna 4. According to me a loan is not needed because the course fee is not too much.
Academics & Faculty : 1. Our college starts from 10:30 a.m to 5:30 p.m. 2. Teachers are very supportive, helpful and encouraging. 3. Overall, my experience is good.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 1. There is 1 hostel, and the hostel's environment is good enough for the students. 2. there are lots of PGs outside the college. 3. food is tasty, the quality is good, and it is cheap in price.. 4.classrooms,labs,libraries,etc are in good condition ..
Clubs & Associations : The main festival on campus is the Annual Fest programme. Life in college is enjoyable and good. You can learn lots of new things in this college.

All scholarship schemes are in addition to Bright Covid Scholarship. The Higher Education Department, Government of West Bengal, has introduced the Student Credit Card Scheme for the students of West Bengal to enable them to pursue education without having any financial constraints. Hence, our students at GMIT can also avail this wonderful opportunity to apply for West Bengal Student Credit Card online. The maximum amount of loan granted is Rs.10 Lac only @ 4% per annum simple interest.

Placements & Internships : If you have tgood marks in your last examination, you get scholarships. It's very successful campus for all GMIT students. Cognizant, TCS,Wipro, Amazon, PWC, Airtel, Digitally, and many more companies hire our college students per year. Average salary per annum almost 4 to 5 lakhs and maximum 10 to 12 lakhs per annum. 95% students got placed per year.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : If you want admission to our college, then you must attempt the entrance examination. Very easy procedure for admission in my college, like you, should fill out some admission form provided by the college.
Fees & Scholarships : In my course, I pay INR 80k per year to college. Many scholarships like SVMCM, National, Oasis etc. are available. 70 to 80% students got scholarships. Very easy to get study loans. College facilities help for applying student credit card or other bank loans HDFC, Punjab banks etc. provides students loan.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Two separate hostels for boys and girls in our college and the fee is INR 4000 per month. You got PGs and messes out side the college and here also you pay 3000 to 4000 thousand per month. Hostel food is good, they gave 4 times like breakfast, lunch, tiffin and dinner. College's class rooms and lab rooms are so cleaned, library is also good quality. You got wifi in every department.
Clubs & Associations : We celebrate all kinds of festivals like tech fest, cultural programs like Basant utsav, Rabindra Jayanti, etc. Sports like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, etc. and management programs like fest.

Placements & Internships : Placement and internship statistics are very much impressive. Departmental students get the chance to be placed in a core company. Overall, 80% of students were placed in last year in different companies like Hind Rectifier, Wipro, ACC Cement, Bassetti, BYJU's, PWC, etc. The avarage package was around 3.5 LPA. Students also got good internship offer with an average of 8000 per month stipend in the companies like Blue Copper Technologies, PS Group, ACC etc.
