Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) established the Center for Distance Learning (CDL) in the year 2009 with an aim of giving access to higher education to students irrespective of their gender & age. GITAM CDL motto is to provide a quality education that is the same as the education that a student would get from a regular course. Also, this program ensures working personnel, students residing in rural areas and physically challenged students can access education with ease.

GITAM CDL is recognized by the Distance Education Bureau (DEB), UGC, New Delhi by the recommendation from the joint committee of UGC-AICTE-DEC. 

GCDL program courseware provides self-learning materials, face to face counseling, on-line lectures, recorded lectures on-demand, etc. The program fulfills the needs and dreams of the learners by providing certificates after course completion, skill improvement and professional qualification acquisition. GITAM CDL fees vary according to the programs but registration fees and grade card fees are the same for all the courses.

   - GCDL will provide a self-learning instruction manual such as assignment questions, written texts and other supplementary material along with audio and video programs using which students can study.

3. What is the maximum time period for completion of the degree?
   - The maximum time period for the completion of the degree is twice the period of the program.

4. What are the criteria for admission?
   - The criteria for admission is that the candidate must attend the GITAM Admission Test (GAT) and obtain a rank.

5. How do I access my academic details such as fees, materials, and results?
   - Student ID will be provided during admissions using which the student can log in and access all the academic information.

GITAM CDL Eligibility Criteria:

GITAM CDL offers various courses in different specializations. Eligible candidates need to attend the GAT exam organized by GITAM and obtain a rank for admission.

GITAM CDL Admission:

Interested candidates can apply for GITAM CDL admission online. The fees can be sent to the university through DD in favor of CDL-GITAM, Payable at Visakhapatnam.
