Eligibility Criteria at Global Academy of Technology, [GAT] Bangalore:

Eligibility criteria for B.Tech:

For Regular (4 years):

• The candidate should have passed 10+2 in Karnataka or its equivalent examination with individual pass in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or Electronics or Computer Science.
• The candidate should have an average of minimum 45 %.
• The candidate should have appeared in any of the following Entrance Examination i.e, CET OR COMEDK.
• The candidate should also have a rank declared which is valid.

 For Lateral Entry (3 years):

• The candidate should have passed a diploma examination or equivalent examination.
• The candidate should have an aggregate mark of 45% in the final year of his/her Diploma Examination (Q.E). 
• For categories like SC, ST and other Backward Classes the Eligibility is an aggregate of 40% marks.
• The candidates should also appear for Diploma Common Entrance Test which is conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority.

 Eligibility criteria for MBA:

• The candidate should have passed a recognized Bachelor’s Degree (BBA, B.Com, BA, BSc etc.) with a duration of minimum 3 years or a higher Degree (B.E., M.Tech, ME etc.)
• The candidate should have an aggregate mark of minimum 50% marks in all the subjects including languages
• For categories like SC, ST, and Category-I of Karnataka candidates the eligibility is an aggregate of 45% marks in Q. E.
• The candidate should also have a valid PGCET score/rank.

Eligibility criteria for M.Sc:

• The candidate should have passed B.E./B.Tech examination conducted by VTU or any other recognized University with an aggregate not less than 60%. 
• For categories like SC/ST and other categories as notified by Government of Karnataka a relaxation to the extent of 10% shall be allowed.

 Eligibility criteria for M.Tech:

• The candidates should have a valid GATE score and PGCET rank which are eligible to seek admission under Government Quota.

•  The candidates with valid GATE scores need not appear for Karnataka PGCET and will be given preference over the others.

Note:

The candidates should keep in mind that GATE score is usually valid only for two years and they should also have a minimum prescribed score.

Application Process for B.Tech, MBA, M.Sc, M.Tech:

Step 1: The candidate must go to the Official Website, through the link given below.

 Step 2: Application process for B.Tec:

• The candidate should click on UG Programs as shown below to fill the Application form for the respective course.
• The candidate will be directed to the Application form.
• Here, the candidate should first fill in his/her Personal details.
• The candidate should fill in details about his/her Educational Background.
• The candidate should upload his/her Photo and Signature.

Step 3: Application for PG Programs (MBA, M.Sc, M.Tech):

• The candidate should click on PG Programs as shown below to fill the Application form for the respective PG Program.
• The candidate will be directed to the Application Form.
• The candidate should fill in his/her details in the Application form. 

Admission Process for  B.Tech:

• The Admission process is through CET  and should have an aggregate of 45% in the approved Intake OR,

• Through COMEDK  with an aggregate of 30% in the approved Intake.

• Candidates who would like to seek direct admission under Management quota should submit their admission enquiry online on the official website.

• There are 25% seats for the Managment quota.

•  Alternatively, The candidate should visit the college in person and meet the Admission counselor or the respective head of the department to know more about the various courses and other details.

 Admission Process for MBA, M.Sc, M.Tech:

• The candidate should submit his/her application for registration.
• The candidate should provide various other documents along with the Application.
• The documents to be provided are Degree Certificate, Marks cards of all examinations, Employers certificate and the consent of the Guide, where the candidate intends to do research.
