HKBK College of Engineering provides scholarships to students in order to create a balance between the different economic sections of society. The scholarships offered by the University are mentioned below.

Financial Assistance For Covid Warriors:
Financial Assistance is provided for the students who have fought against COVID. The scholarship is provided only if there is valid proof certifying the eligibility and it is for Indian citizens only. The institute has the right to refuse, limit or restrict the number of students The Following are the details.

Girls Scholarship:
Scholarships are provided to girl engineering students for the first year. The girls who have obtained 80% in the 12th board are eligible for the scholarships. The scholarship amount is 25,000 for the first year.
Merit-Based Scholarship:
Scholarships are offered to students securing an aggregate of 80% marks in their classes X and XII. 80% of marks are also required in PCM for Engineering. The scholarships are granted to limited seats only that is 10% of seats in each Engineering Program. Scholarships are allotted for the first year in Merit order to eligible candidates. The scholarship amount is Rs.25000/- on the Tuition fee for the first year. The following scholarships are also provided.

Special Scholarship:
Scholarships are only to limited persons and the following scholarships are provided.
Old Student:-
Scholarships are granted to old students who have already completed their schooling or
diploma in any group of the institute. The scholarship provided is Rs.30,000/- of the yearly fee for the first year.
Teacher’s Ward Concession:-
Scholarships are provided to the wards of the teachers for 1st year of the course. The concession amount is Rs.30,000. The teacher should work for the Govt or Govt recognized schools or colleges or universities. The teacher should have worked for at least one year of service.
Sibling Concession:-
The institute offers Rs.25, 000 concessions on the 1st-year fee to newly joined students.
For Orphan Candidates: -
The ward of a single parent would be given a concession of Rs.30,000.
Alumni Scholarship: -
The real brother or sister or spouse or Wards of the alumni students of this institute would be granted a concession of Rs.25, 000/-.
Entrance Scholarship:
HKBK sets a national-level exam known as HKBKCET. The students who obtain meritorious marks are given scholarships. The following are the scholarship provided:
91-100 Marks – 100% scholarship
71-90 marks- 50,000/- scholarship
61-70 marks – 25000/-scholarship
51-60 marks - 10000/- scholarship

Fees & Scholarships : HKBK College of Engineering, [HKBKCE] Bangalore B.Tech Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 1.25 Lakh per annum. The fee is pretty high but they do consider reducing it if requested. These charges are excluding the exam fees and other extracurricular activities. For that, you need to pay an additional fee. There are certain scholarships for minorities but nothing on the basis of merit
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria are through entrance exams, if you are from Karnataka then you can take the CET entrance exam or COMEDK for students from Bengaluru or other states. Also, they have admissions through Management quota.
Placements & Internships : For my batch 2010, there were no internships and training. But in the latest curriculum, they have 3 internships compulsory but college rarely provides for it. One needs to find it on their own.
Academics & Faculty : The education system is pretty decent. The staff is really helpful and teaches the students well. The method of teaching is average.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 2-3 hostels, only the boy's hostel is on campus. The girl's hostel is almost 1km away from the campus. The annual fee of the hostel is currently 80k. It is more convenient to opt for a PG just behind the college with many more facilities. The classrooms are well maintained and so are the Labs and Libraries.
Clubs & Associations : There were no clubs and societies in college. But currently, they are taking initiatives. There is a one-day fest and freshers cum ethic day once a year. Both in alternate semesters. Some events that might be organized by different departments and don't necessarily happen every year.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 2 hostels are there. The hostel fee is INR 55000 per annum. Plenty of PGs are available near the college.
Clubs & Associations : A number of tech fests, sports fests and cultural fests are held in the college every semester. College life is awesome.

Entrance examination:--KCET Cutoff's:--Must get rank in KCET till 1 lakh rankings and must get 60 and above Percentage in 12th.
Placements & Internships : No internships did. INFOSYS, Accenture, etc hire students from our campus. 25 pc of batch gets placement. Alumni network is really nice.
Academics & Faculty : Class routine:-8:30 am to 3:20 pm. Quality and method of teaching are good. College campus has good infrastructure with the playground for students. Internet facility, library facility also available. Management people are the problem as they take time for admission process.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 1 hostel is available for boys in the college campus and one hostel for girls available at 1.1km from the college campus. PG for CIVIL, electrical and mechanical engineering available. Food is ok. The classroom is good with lab and library and wifi also available.
Clubs & Associations : During even semester, Calypso an event at HKBK college campus is held btw April and May along with onam. Yes to say some teachers and well qualified and others don't even care for students.They are Stern and too strict towards students.They take a lot of money as a fine.
