Placements & Internships : The placement is very good in our college. More than 90% student got placed in our college. Companies like Oracle, IBM, Accenture, PwC, and Deloitte visits our campus. Oracle has offered highest package of 19LPA. PwC has offered internship. Accenture has given offer to 150 students. The average package is 5LPA. The placement starts mainly from the seventh semester.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria is having passed class 12th for B.Tech admission. The admission is based on the rank in WBJEE. There are some seats for management quota as well. The cutoff is high in good branches.
Fees & Scholarships : The total fees is around 6,00,000. The semester fees is around 70000 during my time. College also provides financial assistance to students in need. I have availed financial assistance from the college. The college has given me Rs 13000 for one semester. You can get loan easily as it is a reputed college. If you are from Bihar or West Bengal then you can get loan at 4% from student credit card scheme.
Academics & Faculty : The faculties are quite supportive in nature. They are available every time you need. They are highly qualified. They basically use a ppt for presentation and discuss from that ppt. The syllabus is quite updated. The faculty to student ratio is 1:4. Exams are always conducted on time. Library is always open. You can even study at night in library.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The infrastructure is quite good. Library is open 24*7 throughout the year. Classrooms are well lighted. Each classroom have projector in it. Hostel is there but outside college campus. PG are available at walking distance from the college. Labs are well equipped with all the required equipment. Library also have desktop which can be used for online learning.
Clubs & Associations : There are various clubs that are being run in the college. There are many tech fests as well as cultural fest that are organized every year. Some clubs include IEM Coding Club and IEM E-cell. There is a basketball court in the campus and a dedicated indoor sports room in the campus.

Placements & Internships : Yes, the college provides internships and an industrial visit to the college students. If you do better in a certain company's internship, then you even get a chance to get get selected by the company for the job. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, SAP lab, Delloite, etc., come to visit our college every year to hire students. Average salaries differ from company to company, like 200000-600000 INR. Every year, there is an alumni interaction at the beginning of the year.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria is that a student should be 12th passed from a recognised school/college. The admission procedure is done in both online and offline processes. Then you need to fill out an admission form with valid details as per the requirements mentioned in the form. Yes, there is an entrance exam for selection. The entrance exam name is the Common Entrance Test (CET). A person should have 60% or above in 12th standard and should also pass the entrance exam with ranks under 1000.
Fees & Scholarships : The fee is 1 Lacs. The scholarships are on a merit basis, for local students, by giving exams, and also if the financial condition is not good. Out of 100, say 60-70 students get the chance for scholarships. Loans can be availed, but the need for them varies from person to person.
Academics & Faculty : The classes are from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. The teachers give assignments and projects for the specified subjects. The college takes two mid-semester exams before the end semester exams for better preparations and marks. The quality and method of teaching is overall good. The teachers help a lot with the studies or any kind of help. The topics are covered with good quality and understanding. The environment is quite good in the college. The seniors are very good and helpful. The college is strictly ragging free.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are two hostel buildings for both boys and girls. The hostel rooms are fully furnished and well maintained. They provide a bed, study table, and meals three times a day. The hostel fee is 7000 INR. Yes, there are PGs or other options for the stay. You can get it as per your wish with different facilities like a refrigerator, washing machine, and geyser since there are a lot of PGs. It is much better to live outside rather than college hostel. The PGs or other living outside costs can go from 3000-8000 INR. The food provided in the college is fresh, and costs vary for different food items. The classroom is well maintained with AC. The college has libraries and practical labs for different subjects and WiFi connections on every desktop.
Clubs & Associations : I do not know about students' societies and clubs. There are several festivals goes on college like cultural, tech fest, music fest, and so on. College life is very fantastic.

Placements & Internships : The mass recruiting companies do play the major role in placement scenarios in most of the private engineering colleges and so do in our college, but here in this college, the packages of the mass recruiters are a bit higher i.e. 5-6 lpa based on once merit and interviews. Apart from the general basis of mass recruiters to hire graduates, they do also set up certain extra rounds for some students who qualify certain examinations and their packages range from 8-10 lpa. Apart from that, the highest package of every year is around 17-20 lpa and the highest package offered was 40 lpa. The alumni network of the college is really appreciated around eastern India. Since our college was established around 30 years back, so we are having our alumni in different sectors capturing top posts and responsibilities. And apart from all these stuff, there are certain few colleges in India where ethical hackers are recruited and ours is the one, and if one really becomes a good ethical hacker, then no need to ask for placements and all.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : There are two procedures of getting admission in this college. 1. Through JEEs and 2. Through Management Quotas. But since I took admission through WBJEE counselling, so don't have much knowledge about management quotas. The college takes admission through two JEEs; 1. JEE MAIN and 2. WBJEE. I took WBJEE, well the cutoffs for my branch was less than 2500. And different branches've different cut-offs.
Fees & Scholarships : Amount keeps on increasing by 1,000/- per year. Different examinations are held to check for eligibility of scholarships. Moreover, they can also get scholarships on the basis of their academics so far or achievements in a different genre. In most of the cases loan is not needed, for example in a class of 60 students, 2 students apply for loan. And yes the availability of loan is really very easy in this college.
Academics & Faculty : Everything in this college is running under a well-disciplined administration. Nice and interactive way to teach and communicate with students. Well, everything is fine but, the environment around is more like school than college.

Placements & Internships : Yes, I am gonna perform an internship next semester. TCS, CTS, WIPRO, INFOSYS come to our college. INR 4 LPA is average salary students get. Highest salary is INR 12 LPA.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : You have to get more than 60 percent in your 12th exam. Then You have to sit on Entrance exams like WBJEE and JEE Mains. You have to get at least 120 marks in Jee Mains so that you can get a chance to take admission in this college.
Fees & Scholarships : Around INR 1 Lakh is the course fee. No loans are not needed
Academics & Faculty : The class goes from 9 am to 4 pm. Projects are to submit in the daily basis. Assignments are given every day.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is only one hostel in the campus. Food quality is very good. Class rooms are big. Wi-Fi is available. Libraries are open 24*7.

Fees & Scholarships : Course fees change every year and my course fee is INR 65000 per semester. No. of students gets the scholarship are very less about 10-20. Yes, one can apply for the loan in any banks.
Academics & Faculty : Quality of teaching of few teachers was excellent and my overall experience in college is average.

Placements & Internships : Placement is very good. TCS, CTS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, SANKALP SEMICONDUCTORS etc. hire a huge number of students each year. Typical salary figure is around INR 3-INR 4 LPA at starting.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission is done via WBJEE Exam. In this exam, a rank is obtained by a student. Based on this rank, he/she can appear in counseling to get any branch in any college. Typically nowadays a rank under 800 might ensure a seat in ECE branch in my college.
Fees & Scholarships : Tuition fee per semester at my time was about INR 30000. Not many scholarship options are there. The course fee is a bit on the higher side. Loans should be taken and it can be obtained from almost any bank. I personally took the same from SBI.
Academics & Faculty : The college adheres to strict schedules and mandates a cut off for attendance to appear on the final semester. Classes used to start at about 10 am and continued up to 4:30 pm with a recess of 40 minutes in between. Quality and method of teaching were very good. Teachers provided on depth overview of the subject. Overall very good experience.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostel facility was not good. Room quality was not good. Along with many of my classmates, I used to travel from home on a daily basis. Classroom quality was just good, nothing fancy. Labs were good.
Clubs & Associations : There is robotics club, drama club and other different societies are available. Tech fest and cultural fests used to take place almost every year. In general, college life here is very good, if you can abide by the strict schedules for classes.

Placements & Internships : The alumni mostly go for studies abroad. Most of the students coming to the college are interested in further studies. The college does provide internship depending from case to case and stipend is also good around 5k-20k per month. Some product company such as Adobe and directly visit the college with a salary of 10lpa minimum. Also, smaller product and services company such as bazooka, fusion chart, nri fintech and soft kink visit the college with a package of INR 4-6 lac. Then the usual company such as Infosys, CTS, TCS follow with a package of INR 3.36 or 6.5 lac. Almost all the batch get placed. The alumni network is there but not so much in touch with the current batch.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The entrance exam accepted are Wbjee, IemJee and also jee(mains). The college also rakes admission through management quota. The eligibility criteria vary from year to year but the person must have a minimum of 60 in PCM. The cutoff for WBJEE is around 5000 rank through which I got into IEM.
Fees & Scholarships : The course fee per year is INR 80000. There is a scholarship available for bright students and girl students. Also, loans can be availed from the bank. Mostly all the student who applies to getting a scholarship or a tuition fee waiver. The loans available are enough to cover the tuition fee and is provided by SBI and PNB.
Academics & Faculty : The class timings are from 9 am to 4 pm five days a week Tuesday to Saturday. The project is mediocre in nature but can teach one a lot of done earnestly. There are 2 mid tests and final semester exams. The assignment is given daily but not evaluated on a strict basis. Some teachers are excellent with an excellent grasp of the subject while some are not. The teaching is mostly book based and lecture-oriented and not very interactive in nature. The overall experience is average and there is a quite of scope for improvement
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The college hostel is not up to the mark as the lodging and food provided is not nice. Generally, students prefer PG or flat instead of living in a hostel. The rent varies around from 1000-5000. The food provided in the canteen is good compared to the locality. Mostly it is fast food and pinches the pocket quite less. The quality of the classroom and the labs are not up to the mark. They give a feeling of the early 2000s or late 1990s. The library is of the state of the art which is 24 hours open and have a got a huge collection of books. There is no dining hall. The college has modern fire fighting equipment and the wifi is provided by jio. All the computer have Linux on them and also have a strong LAN connection.
Clubs & Associations : College life is similar to school. There are lots of rules and there is an aura of decorum and discipline. We have morning prayer, to begin with, and bunking college is quite tough after making into the college premise. The atmosphere in the classroom is fun. There are two fests cultural and technical organized by the college and are quite a hit in this region. There is only a club known as the e-cell or the entrepreneurial cell which is very active and organizes a lot of events and have a lab sponsored by the government of India.

This college takes there student through west bengal joint interance examination or JEE MAIN. For WBJEE you have to rank above 4500 for your admission .. and JEE MAIN you have to rank above 60000.
