IHM Mumbai Result 2023: Check Exam Results

Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition results for the B.Sc, Diploma and Certificate courses are published on the IHMCTAN Mumbai website - ihmctan.edu. Students can view their semester-wise IHM Mumbai results 2022 in PDF form, from the results section of the website. The IHM Mumbai odd and even semester exams are usually conducted in December and April, and the results are declared within 60 days.
Candidates must have attended at least 40% of all the classes, and have a minimum attendance of 75% (concession upto 60% on valid grounds) to be able to appear for the semester examination. A minimum of 40% score in the theory and 50% in the practical exams to be eligible for promotion to the next semester. IHM Mumbai Result 2022 Important Dates

The IHM Mumbai has declared the results for the B.Sc Hospitality and Hotel Management even semester results. The IHMCTAN results were published for the B.Sc H&HA Sem III and IV regular, updated, withheld and re-appear papers, along with the Sem II, V and VI regular and special exams. How to Check IHM Mumbai Result 2022?

Students can check their IHM Mumbai results from the ‘Student’ section of the IHMCTAN official website. Candidates can find the semester-wise list of published results for different terms, in the result section of the students tab. The IHMCTAN result PDF is provisional and contains only immediate information such as the roll number, name and result of the candidates. The institute will issue the final marksheet to the students, soon after the online result publication. The process to check the IHMCAT Mumbai result online is mentioned below:

Evaluation of IHM Mumbai Result 2022

IHMCAT Mumbai evaluates the students on the basis of the internal assessments and the term end examinations. The three year degree program in B.Sc H&HA has two components, that is IGNOU and NCHMCT, and each is governed by its own set of examination rules. In the NCHMCT, the internal assessments for the theory and practical papers are given a weightage of 30% of marks and the end term exam score out of 100 marks are averaged to the remaining 70%. The candidates can be declared to have passed the semester examination, if they secured at least 40% marks in each of the theory subjects, and 50% marks in each of the practical, research project, industrial training, term work and research methodology components. For the diploma or certificate courses, candidates will be declared pass if they secure a minimum total of 35% of marks.
The failed candidates are required to re-appear for the failed papers, in the re-appear exams held along with the next term/semester exams. Failed candidates are provisionally promoted to higher class if they are a first year student with not more than 6 backlogs (in Sem I & II taken together), or a second year student with not more than 3 backlogs.

Revaluation of IHM Mumbai Result 2022

The IHMCAT Mumbai provides the facility of marks verification and revaluation of the theory and practical papers, for students with unsatisfactory marks. Students can apply for the verification or revaluation process, within 15 days of result declaration, by paying the prescribed revaluation/verification fee. Candidates must fill the application form obtained , from their institute office or exam controller office and apply along with a copy of the marksheet and DD of the fee amount, to the National Council of Hotel Management, Noida. Students can also apply for the process online through the principal’s office of their college or institute. The marks are verified in the candidate's presence on the notified date. In contrast, the IHM revaluation results are notified to the candidates through their respective institutes.
