IITM Janakpuri admission 2025 will begin soon. Admissions to IITM Janakpuri courses are entrance-based followed by a centralized counselling process by GGSIPU. IITM Janakpuri Admission Process
IITM Janakpuri admission process includes appearing for the respective entrance examination and then participating in the IPU Centralized online counselling process for seat allocation. The entire admission process is as follows:
Step 1: Register and Appear for the Entrance Examination
For IITM Janakpuri admission 2025, candidates must register and appear for the accepted entrance examination for respective courses. Entrance exams accepted by IITM Janakpuri for admission to various courses are given in the table below:

Step 2: Enrolment/Participation in Centralized Online Counselling
Candidates seeking admission at IITM Janakpuri must register/enroll themselves for the centralized online counselling process conducted by GGSIPU. IPU registration fee is INR 1500 and the counselling participation fee is INR 1000 for each course.
Step 3: Filling of Choices/Preferences
After enrollment for the online counselling process, candidates must fill choices for the seat allotment.
Step 4: Seat Allotment
- After the choice-filling period is over, the seat allotment result will be based on scores obtained in the entrance examination and choices/preferences.
- There will be multiple rounds of seat allotment.
- Upon allotment of a seat, candidates will option of freeze/float the allotted seat.
- To accept the seat allotment and participate in the subsequent round of counselling, candidates need to pay the part academic fee of INR 96,000.
- In case seats remain vacant after all rounds of counselling, IPU will conduct spot round counselling to fill those seats.
Step 5: Reporting at the Institute
After accepting the seat, candidates are then required to report and join IITM Janakpuri with the Admission Slip, the Provisional Allotment Letter, the Academic Fee Receipt and the necessary record for verification of documents and pay the balanced amount.
IITM Janakpuri UG Admission 2025
IITM Janakpuri offers BCA (Hons), BBA (Hons), B.Com (Hons), and BAJMC (Hons) courses at the undergraduate level. The duration of UG courses is 2 to 3 years. The minimum eligibility criteria for IITM Janakpuri UG courses is to pass 10+2 in relevant subjects with at least 50% marks. Admissions to all UG courses will be based on entrance exam scores.

IITM Janakpuri offers 2-year MBA and MCA programs at the PG level. Admissions to IITM Janakpuri PG courses are entrance-based and the seat allotment is done via the IPU centralised online counselling process. IITM Janakpuri admissions are conducted solely on the basis of merit through a Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by GGSIP University.
