Institute of Management Study, [IMS] Kolkata is a part of IMS Group of Institutes and was established in the month of July of 2006. Dr. Tapash Ranjan Saha is the founder director of the institute. Providing quality education in undergraduate and postgraduate programs in management and computer application to develop the character of students is the main aim of the college. 

The college is recognized and affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology [WBUT] and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology [MAKAUT]. Buildings:

• The college has classrooms, common rooms and canteen which are well ventilated with a mix of natural and artificial air
• Marble floors are available in the building which ensures cleanliness of the campus

Computer Laboratory:

• IMS, Kolkata has a computer lab which has 30 computers which are of IBM P4PC
