JK Lakshmipat University Admission

The admission process at JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur, involves a series of evaluative steps to ensure the selection of suitable candidates. Initially, students are required to submit their application forms with all necessary details. Subsequently, eligible candidates undergo a Personal Interaction Round with faculty members.

For undergraduate and postgraduate programs qualifying scores from national entrance exams like UCEED and JEE are accepted and other programs, require students to appear for University Level Entrance Examinations.

B.Tech

• Minimum 60% marks required in English, Maths, Physics, and Chemistry in Class XII, plus 60% in Mathematics. 

B.Des

• Applicants must attain a minimum aggregate of 60% in Class XII across English and three chosen subjects. However, subjects with marks below 50% will not be included in the calculation. 
• Applicants may be required to appear for JK – Design Entrance Test (DET) in the absence of qualifying scores from other competitive examinations. 

BBA

• Applicants must attain a minimum aggregate of 60% in Class XII across English and three chosen subjects. However, subjects with marks below 50% will not be included in the calculation. 

M.Des

• Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized University. Graduates with a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree are also eligible. Students appearing in the final examination of Bachelor’s Degree can also apply.

Ph.D.

• Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks or its equivalent grade. Alternatively, candidates may possess a Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) in a relevant discipline with a minimum aggregate of 75% or its equivalent grade.

Important Note

• Marks awarded by a recognized Central/State Board/University Examination in India, or any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) will be considered.
• Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian Origin/Non-Resident Indian candidates can be considered for admission based on their marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination.
• Students in their final examination of class XII may apply; however, admission will be provisional, subject to achieving the minimum marks.
