KLE Technological University, Hubli was formerly known as B.V Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology [BVB], a prestigious engineering college in Hubli. The college was established in the year 1947 and evolved to hold a unique position in the technical education system of India. The college is approved by UGC in the year 2017. It is approved by AICTE.

BVB college of engineering and technology undertook a strategic initiative of transforming itself to a university of national distinction. In the year 2014, the college was recognized as a state private university by Government of Karnataka.

The KLE Technological University placement report for 2024 has not been released yet. However, the highest salary package offered during recent placements was INR 44 LPA. During the 2023 placement drive, companies like Amagi, Amazon, Samsung, and Western Digital visited the campus, offering packages of INR 33 LPA, INR 21.83 LPA, INR 21 LPA, and INR 19.15 LPA, respectively.

According to the Engineering NIRF report 2024, the median package for BTech and MTech placements in 2023 stood at INR 7 LPA.

KLE Technological University Admissions

Admission Process: Students applying for admission to the first year of the BE program at KLE Technological University, one of the leading engineering colleges in Karnataka, should report to the Admissions office with the necessary order copies from CET, Comed-K, Management, or PGCET, along with all other academic documents used for prior admissions. After the student's data is entered, a fee challan will be generated and provided. The student must then pay the fee at the Syndicate Bank account on campus. Once the fee is paid, the student will continue with the admission process, submitting the required documents along with the computer-generated admission application and a copy of the fee challan. Upon completion, the student will receive a Provisional Admit Letter from the office, finalizing the admission process. All fee payments for admission to the first year of the BE/B Arch programs at the University must be made online through the University portal, with assistance from the Admissions office. Alternatively, payments can be made through a bank demand draft in favor of "The Registrar, KLE Technological University," payable at Hubballi. 

Undergraduate Admission Eligibility Criteria

Admission Procedure: 

Admissions to the B.E. Programs and B.Arch. are subject to the rules and regulations set by the Karnataka Examination Authority and the Director of Technical Education, Bengaluru. Students wishing to apply under any quota must have secured a rank in CET (Karnataka), Comed K, or JEE at the national level. For admission to the B.Arch. program, students must appear for the online test conducted by the Council of Architecture (NATA).
