CMR University Admission

From the admission page of the official CMR University website, students can register themselves and fill up their application form for CMRUAT, the common admission test for programmes offered by the university. Along with the form and registration, an application fee also needs to be paid. At the time of admission, supporting documents like certificates and mark sheets need to be submitted to the university. Based on the merit of qualifying exam marks or entrance exam marks, students are selected for the programme. For PhD admission, the interview round is held as the final stage of the admission process after the shortlisting based on the entrance exam.

CMR University Eligibility Criteria

The students applying for admission into courses offered by CMR University must satisfy the following eligibility criteria for the same.

CMRU B.Tech/ B.Tech {Hons.} Eligibility

• Candidates must have completed 12th standard with 45% marks and with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Electronics/ Computers or Biology.
• Candidates must have a valid AIEEE/ JEE/ CET/ COMED-K/ CMRUAT score.

CMRU M.Tech Eligibility

• Candidates must have 50% marks in BE/ B.Tech in a relevant field.
• Candidates must have a valid GATE/ PGCET score.

CMRU PhD Eligibility

• Candidates must have scored 55% marks in a master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Candidates must have a valid UGC NET score.

CMRU MBA Eligibility

• Candidates must have completed graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from any recognized university (45% for reserved categories).
• Candidates must have a valid score in MAT/ CAT/ PGCET/ K-MAT/ ATMA or any AICTE approved test/ CMRUAT.

CMRU LLB Eligibility

• Candidates must have 45% marks in a degree program.
