Eligibility Criteria for BSc:

The students who apply to Madras Christian College should have a pass in the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination by a recognized board.

The upper age limit for admission to UG courses will be 21 years as on 1st July of the year of Admission. A 5 years relaxation is permitted for differently abled and 3 years for women students.
For B.Sc. (Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry):
- The students who are applying for B.Sc. Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry should have preferably taken a combination of Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry at the Higher Secondary level for admission to Madras Christian College, Chennai.
For B.Sc. (Statistics):
- The students who are applying for B.Sc. (Statistics) should have preferably studied a combination of Statistics/ Mathematics at the Higher Secondary level.
For B.Sc. (Plant Biology and Plant Biotechnology/Zoology):
- The students who are applying for B.Sc. Plant Biology and Plant Biotechnology/Zoology should have preferably studied a combination of Biology and Chemistry at the Higher Secondary level for admission to Madras Christian College, Chennai.
For B.Sc. (Microbiology):
- The students who are applying for B.Sc. Microbiology should have studied a group with Biology/ Botany and Zoology at the Higher Secondary level.
Admission Procedure:

The list of the selected students for all the courses will also be displayed on the College Notice Board and on the Madras Christian College, Chennai Website.

Admission card will be sent to the registered E-mail ID.

Admission date for the selected candidates will be sent through E-mail, SMS and it will be displayed on the College notice board and on the College website.
- The students who get the Admission card can pay the fees.

For Hostel accommodation, the student should submit a separate application to the Dean of Students Affairs (DSA) for (Hostel) accommodation after being admitted in the course by paying the prescribed fees.
