Maharaja's College, Ernakulam one of the best institutions of higher learning in the State of Kerala. Maharaja's College Started in 1845 as a school, later on, it was upgraded as a college in 1875 by the then Maharaja of Cochin. The Maharaja's college has been raised to the status of Autonomous College by the Government of Kerala and UGC in the year 2014 which is so rare that Maharaja's College is the only College to get this honor. • The fee structure for B A students for 3 years is INR 5795
• For B. Sc. Physics/Chemistry students it is INR 6995 for 3 years
• For B. Sc. Botany/Zoology students the fees go by  INR 7445 for 3 years
• For B. Sc. Mathematics/B. Com students, the fee is INR 6245 for 3 years
• For B. Sc.Environmental Chemistry and B.Sc. Physics Instrumentation it is INR 36995 for 3 years.
• For M A(all subjects) and M.Sc.Maths/M.Com, the fees go by INR 3555
• For M.Sc. (All other subjects) the fees will be INR 4755.

Maharaja's College, Ernakulam Admission:

Admissions to the Maharaja's College will be based on the merit and certain criteria put forward by the college for selecting the students. Given below are some of them.

• Admission will be only based on merit
• Students who have NCC, NSS, etc will get a bonus 5 marks.
• Students who are from the Army, Police, Services will get special consideration
• Students who belong to the minority categories such as SC/ST, OBC, etc will get a concession.
• There also exists a special reservation for differently-abled students
• Sports Quota seats are also available for students from a sports background
• For BA music applicants must have to go through the aptitude test for the assessment of their knowledge in Karnatic music.

Maharaja's College Ernakulam posses certain cut off standards as well. As like every college the admission will only be based on merit 

• Merit-based admission marks of higher secondary were considered for UG programs ie. minimum 50% for certain and 45% for others
• For B A music marks obtained from the entrance exam is also being considered

• Marks from PG are considered for Ph.D.
