Facilities :-

Library

Central Library is one of the finest libraries, functioning in two floors with a huge floor area of 29,428 sqft and is air-conditioned with serene ambience and state of the art infrastructure which provides comfortable learning environment with resource material of the highest quality, to teach& learn skills needed for academic inquiry and lifelong learning to support faculty and postgraduate research, which is continuously being updated with new volumes of books and journals. Library is enriched with a vast knowledge bank of 13070 medical text and reference books. Digital library with 48 computers is provided with 583 CD- ROMS of medical subjects. The expanding clinical knowledge and the complexities of health care is a challenge for health care providers. Research, clinical knowledge & skills updating is essential in Health sciences education. To commensurate with current health care and research for our Faculty and students we have subscription to a total of 111 medical journals of which 78 are Indian and 33 are foreign journals. We have a total of 8877 issues of back volume journals. We have subscription to NTRUHS Mednet consortium and digital library through which we have access to 87 journals and 82 Medical E - books online. We have a SC& ST Medical book bank of 710 books, which will be issued to the students on loan basis for entire academic year.

Hostels

A majority of the students come from other cities and towns. Therefore, providing residential facilities becomes a prime task. Air-conditioned and non A/C hostels for boys and girls separately with attached toilets facilities. UG & PG Students of the Dental College have been accommodated separately. The living conditions are comfortable and meet the requirements of the students. Food is Hygienic and nutritious. At all times safety and security of the inmates residing in the hostels is ensured and assured. T.V. rooms with plasma T.V. and indoor gym facilities are provided.

Auditorium

A very aesthetically designed centrally air conditioned Auditorium with excellent audio & visual facilities with a seating capacity of 1000 to host conferences, CMES and guest lectures.

Lecture Halls

There are air conditioned lecture theatres with a varying seating capacity in each lecture theatre. They provide facilities to observe live surgical procedures there by offering an opportunity to see the experts at work. Apart from the lecture theatres all the departments have A/C. Seminar Rooms / Demonstration Rooms with a capacity of 20 to 30 and are equipped with audio-visual aids.

Labs and Museums

A sure sign of any organization’s growth is the amount of time and efforts it dedicates in keeping a track of the past activities and future plans. Labs and Museum are treasures of riches that need to be safe guarded for the future reference. The specimens in the museums provide immensely useful information for the students as do the labs where the students conduct experiments. The College lays enough stress on upgrading the specimen collection in the museums and Laboratories regularly.

Transportation

Transportation facilities are provided to the students for Commuting between College and Hospital as well as field work and Health camps.
There are 3 Airconditioned Tata Marcopolo Buses, one Van, one Tata Winger and 2 Tata Sumos exclusively earmarked for this purpose. A mobile Dental clinic is available for dental camps.
A Free Excursion is arranged for the students every year in our airconditioned buses.
one Tata Safari, one Mahindra Scorpio, one Tata sumo and one Maruthi swift are available for administrative purposes.

Free transportation in provided to all the patients of surrounding villages. there are 7 buses and one van for transportation of patients to and fro from villages to Hospital everyday.

Banking Facilities within Campus

A branch of Andhra Bank is situated within the campus to cater the need of students and staff members for maintaining saving account with minimum balance. This bank offers all facilities available from any premiere standard bank of India to its customers. This fully computerized bank offers world-class services and gives the students, and people in campus an ease to handle their money . 24 hour ATM facility is also provided by the Andhra Bank within the campus.

Post Office

The campus operates a branch of Indian Postal Service office in the Mamata General Hospital Campus. It operates during normal office hours.
