Osmania Medical College is the oldest medical training institute in the state located in the city of Hyderabad in Telangana. Founded in 1846 by the fifth Nizam of Hyderabad – Afzal Ud Daulah, OMC was known as Hyderabad Medical School. This medical college was originally affiliated with the Osmania University system. It is now affiliated with KNR University of Health Sciences and Osmania General Hospital. Medical College to gain admission into a medical College you must have to clear the NEET UG entrance exam.

The campus is spread over 20 hectares of land. OMC is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The institute offers MBBS at the undergraduate level, MD/MS and PG Diploma in various specializations at the postgraduate level, and DM and MCh at the doctoral level. • Admission to the course is given on the basis of the candidate’s merit in NEET-UG conducted by CBSE.

• MBBS or equivalent Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India with a minimum of 50% marks.

Diploma Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be an MBBS graduate with a 50% aggregate.
