The shortlisted candidates are required to pay the fees as per the Manipal College of Dental Sciences fee structure on or before the stipulated date.
The admission to all the courses offered by the Institution depends on the rank secured by the applicant in National Level Competitive Examinations.
At the Undergraduate level, the College offers Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). The academic duration of the course is 4 years comprising of eight semesters plus 1 year compulsory rotating Internship.
The candidates must pass the higher secondary examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English as one of the mandatory subjects to become eligible to apply for the programme. The applicants are selected on the basis of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG (NEET-UG) rank and counselling.

The college provides Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in numerous specializations. MDS is a 3 years programme consisting of six semesters. Specializations in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry etc are offered.
The admission to MDS requires candidates to hold a Graduate Degree in BDS from a University recognized by the Dental Council of India. The selection procedure is based on the performance in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test PG (NEET-PG) rank followed by counselling.

Manipal College of Dental Sciences offers PG Diploma for a duration of 2 years in Dental Materials. Also, the College provides certification courses in Cone Beam Computed Tomography, Forensic Odontology, Minor Oral Surgery, Modern Endodontic Practice and Restorative Dentistry for a period of at least a month.
Admission to the PG Diploma programme is based on the performance of the applicants in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) followed by counselling. On the other hand, there is no entrance test conducted for the certification courses, the candidates are selected on the basis of past academic records.
