A constituent college of the University of Delhi, the college was founded on 17th July 1967 by the Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, Delhi State. The college is proud to have a strength of 4066 vibrant young women in the college. There are 150 distinguished faculty members and 64 members of the non-teaching staff. The college offers 11 Major Disciplines which include Commerce, Economics, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science, Punjabi, Psychological Science, and Sanskrit. Under the three years, the undergraduate program the college offers seventeen different courses. The college offers Post Graduate courses in Punjabi, Hindi, Sanskrit and Political Science. The college also offers Vocational courses in Computer Application, Textile Designing, Travel and Tour Management and Foreign Languages courses in Spanish, German and French. The college is divided into various departments depending on the disciplines. The college offers 11 Major Disciplines which include Commerce, Economics, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science, Punjabi, Psychological Science, and Sanskrit. Mata Sundri College for Women UG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Criteria

The institute offers admission to the undergraduate courses for which a higher secondary examination qualified students can apply for admission. All the courses except B.El.Ed is three years long. B.El.Ed is a course for 4 years.

Mata Sundri College for Women Foreign Language Courses Admission

Mata Sundri College also offers short term (Basic level) courses in various foreign languages. All the courses are conducted as per the International Standards to equip our students with proficiency in the following major foreign languages – French, German and Spanish. They are conducted in collaboration with the Department of Germanic and Romance Studies, University of Delhi. Candidates who have passed the Certificate Examination of the University of Delhi in a language or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto are eligible to apply for admission to the Diploma Course in that language. Admissions will be made strictly in order of merit of the respective certificate course examination. There will be qualifying examinations in both theory and practical at the end of the academic session. The minimum pass percentage will be 50% aggregate. The successful student will be awarded:  

• Certificate in 1st Year 
• Diploma in 2nd Year and  
• Advance Diploma in 3rd Year

All three courses will be taught in the English medium. The minimum passing percentage will be 50% for all the courses. All those students who have passed 10+2 class examination/ 1st/ 2nd/ 3rd year examination conducted by the University of Delhi and have registered themselves on the DU admission portal with the cut off of 50% in 12th class examination can take admission in a certificate in French, German and Spanish. The fee structure for the certificate will be INR 9000/- per language.

The college offers Post Graduate courses in Punjabi, Hindi, Sanskrit and Political Science. Master of Arts (MA) is a full-time two-year postgraduate course and it is offered by the University of Delhi, Delhi.

The institute invites applications for admission to the Post Graduation program. Admission to M.A. will be based either on the marks secured in the qualifying examination or the entrance examination conducted by Delhi University.

• The admissions to various colleges of the University of Delhi are based on merit/ entrance criteria depending on the course selected by an aspiring student.
• Applicants seeking admission to UG merit-based programs/ courses & UG entrance test based must register on a centralized admission Web Portal. 
• The applicants who meet the requisite cut-off should log in to the UG admission portal using their registration account and select the college/ program where the applicant wishes to take admission and meets the desired cut-off criterion.
• The applicant will then be required to log-in to the UG admission portal to make the online admission fee payment through the available online payment options. The approved applicant is permitted to make online admission fee payment till noon of the next day of the last day of admission cut-off list (In which the admission is sought).

Documents Required at the Time of Admission

The applicant shall take the print out of the admission/ registration form and together with the list of documents/ certificates, proceed to the respective college for verification of mark-sheet/ certificates, calculation of cut-off percentage depending on the program/ course. The students shall be required to submit the following self-attested documents along with the application form in original:

• Class X Board Examination Certificate and Marks Sheet
• Class XII Marks Sheet or Provisional Certificate/ Original Certificate
• Character Certificate (Recent)
• SC/ ST Certificate (In the name of the candidate) issued by the competent authority
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (In the name of the Candidate) issued by the competent authority
• Transfer Certificate from school/college as well as Migration Certificate from Board/ University is required from those students who have passed the senior secondary exam from outside Delhi
• Three passport size self-attested photographs
