At M.B. Khalsa College, we can say with pride that we are ensuring that our students can have the brightest future possible. Students participated in Campus drives of IBM, IGate Patni, Wipro, Infosys, L&T, TCS, ACC, Ranbaxy, Amdocs and Lanxess.

To enhance employability, we encourage our students to develop their communication skills, subject expertise and prepare for aptitude tests. The placement cell is there to counsel students, help them prepare for interviews, develop their Resumes, interact with organisations and arrange recruitment programmes. The facilities are in place, we invite students to partake of them, aim high and make their dreams come true.

Placement Cell also organized various seminars to create awareness about the new career options in this service-oriented era. These were on Careers in Aviation industry, Tourism Management, Cost and Works Accountancy, Insurance sector, BPO Industry and KPO.

I am sure India’s strong economic growth will not be hampered for long by the weak US economy, so I would like to tell our students not to despair but plan ahead. Work on yourself; keep yourself updated about the latest developments in your field. Identify areas such as animation, gaming in Computers, computerized accounting in Commerce and so on, which are job generators of the time. Good communication skills are an absolute essential for a good job today. So utilize this time to prepare yourself and I am sure you will have a wonderful career.
