Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology, Indore follows the legacy of Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences. It was established in 2009 and has since become one of the leading institutes of the region. It offers AICTE approved engineering courses. The Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology Admissions are purely based on merit and depend on the scores secured in the entrance exams. The Institute offers courses in Engineering at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma level. The Times of India, The Week Magazine, and many other publications have recognised SAIT with top rankings and national honours.

One of the top engineering schools in Central India, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Technology has continuously been rated among the best in the region. There is a Placement Cell, and Training/ Finishing School at the institute campus. The main purpose of these is to make sure that the students are highly employable at the time of graduation.
