Placements :-
The placement cell of MEC is a fully student coordinated body which works under the guidance of the principal and placement cell officer. The cell is responsible for oranising all the placement activities in the college from contracting the prospective employers to providing all necessary requirements during the placement drive. The placement cell also conducts placement training activities in the campus to prepare the students to meet the needs of corporate world.

Placements & Internships : Deloitte and TCS. Prefer not to mention package. Highest salary from my batch is 31 lakhs. Excellent alumni ranging from companies like Google to even startups.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Kerala Engineering Entrance exams. Also NRI quota. Maximum possible rank for a non-NRI seat is 8500 rank.
Fees & Scholarships : INR 35,000 per year. Scholarship for girls, reserved caste, and tribes. Also students with good ranks and weak financial background. Around 40-50 students get a scholarship.
Academics & Faculty : Teaching is scarce. Daily classes from 9:30 am - 4:30 pm except Friday when classes are till 5:00 PM. Project and assignments are in plenty. Teachers who teach are experts in the subject but considering it is a government college, there are very few teachers who actually care.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : A boys hostel for INR 2,000 per month. The food is very good and laundry is done by oneself. Provides good quality and quantity. The WiFi provides a download speed of 10 Mbps. Each class has a projector and smart classes are available as well.
Clubs & Associations : Each department has a student society. The college tech fest Excel is the second one to commence in the nation. Also, the college arts and sports are conducted in a grand way. Life in college is enjoyable and gratifying.

Literally, students are basically hired for IT fields.The average salary is INR 3,00,000 and the highest salary is INR 15,0000 and almost 88% students are placed every year. The Alumni network is strong and active.They are contributing a lot to the college.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility Criteria was to pass 10+2 exam. The entrance examination is KEAM. Admission will be done on the basis of KEAM rank.
Fees & Scholarships : Merit category student's course fee is INR 35,000 and Management category student's course fee is INR 65,000 and NRI category student's fee is INR 1,00,000. The E-grant, Central sector and XSA(provided by Alumni) scholarships available for the students. Scholarship is strictly based on family income and academic excellance.The average number of students is 15 per class who get the scholarship.
Academics & Faculty : The class timing is from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Projects, exams and assignments are strictly conducted and evaluated based on the university calendar. Quality of teaching is average. Teachers use slides and textbooks for teaching.The best thing about my college is that students will have complete freedom.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Only a Men's hostel is provided by the college. The hostel fee is around INR 8000 per month. Large number of PGs and other hostel facilities are available outside the college and the fees are INR 5000 to INR 8500. Food is good. It costs INR 25 per meal. Quality of classrooms, labs are average.Library is excellent with large collection of books. Infrastructure is satisfactory.
Clubs & Associations : IEEE, MACS, NSS, THANAL are some of the associations on campus. The main festivals include sports, tech fest, and arts organized by the college. College life is amazing with good communication with staff and students.
