Hostel: The NISER hostel blocks are separate for boys and girls. Students are randomly assigned their hostel rooms, equipped with a cot, chair, and table. A warden is always present to ensure security and discipline among the students. In addition, there are several other facilities available on the hostel ground. The NISER facilities include banks, ATMs, post offices, canteens, utility shops, and healthcare and sports facilities.

Library: NISER has a central library with all modern facilities, including a book drop and self-checkout kiosk. It aim to satisfy all the academic questions and research required by the students and hence grants access at all times. The NISER library has many collections of books, reference books, e-books, and journals.

The NISER campus library is air-conditioned, equipped with comfortable seating arrangements, helping students spend time on their academics. There are designated zones like the “Silent Zone” or the “Reference Zone”, which help students to categorise and seat according to their academic needs. NISER infrastructure includes over 24600 books, 10100 e-books, 9000 journals, 30 databases, 350 thesis and dissertations, and 570 bound journals in the library.

Healthcare Centre: A designated healthcare centre is included in the NISER infrastructure for injuries and other medical accidents. Staff members, researchers, faculty members, and dependent family members of National Institute of Science Education and Research students can use the healthcare facilities. In addition to providing medical assistance, the NISER Bhubaneswar healthcare centre also provides regular checkups, dietary information, and health advice.

Transportation Facilities: The NISER campus is located 25 km away from the main city of Bhubaneswar. Thus, the National Institute of Science Education and Research Bhubaneswar provides bus facilities from a certain pick-up point to the college campus and back. In addition to daily commuting for the students, staff, and faculty members. The bus services are also utilised for various educational tours and picnics arranged by the institute.

Auditorium: NISER infrastructure includes an auditorium equipped with all modern technology. Various conferences and events are organised in the auditorium, named "Pathani Samanta Auditorium", after a renowned Odia astronomer Mahamahopadhyaya Chandrasekhara Singha Harichandana Mahapatra Samanta.
