In 2012, Rani Rashmoni School of Architecture got its affiliation from WBUT (Presently, MAKAUT). This technologically advanced campus is at Malandighi, Durgapur which is 10 km from NH2 at Muchipara crossing on the Muchipara-Shibpur Road. It is spread over an area of 35 acres. The campus is eco-friendly with greenery all around.

Sanaka Educational Trust started its School of Architecture with the aim of learning from India’s rich architectural history while questioning conventional concepts and to create something entirely new that will reach people everywhere. The School teaches that architecture is humane and that climatic factors should always be considered while building sustainable structures. Rani Rashmoni School of Architecture Courses includes B.Arch.

The objective of this Architecture School is to inculcate in the students a way of thinking that is creative and rational. To encourage students to be entrepreneurial while creating employment opportunities in the area. The School aims to be instrumental in building a human force that can provide unique and sensitive solutions to the growing needs of the current society.

Rani Rashmoni School of Architecture infrastructure facilities include classrooms, a central library, computer lab, healthcare unit, and hostel. Along with all these facilities, eligible students are also given scholarships. There are also co-curricular activities like sports, cultural activities, clubs, committees, college magazine, and a cultural fest. An alumni association also actively exists.

• Scholarships of West Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand are available for eligible students.

• Admission to the School is done only through WBJEEM / JEE Main / NATA online counselling.
• Rani Rashmoni School of Architecture admissions is finalized only after the verification of documents and paying the fees.
• The documents to be verified are:
  • Admit card of 10th standard
  • Final marks sheet of 12th standard/ Diploma
  • Valid scorecard of NATA / JEE Main / WBJEEM
• Document verification can be conducted is done either online or in person
• The applicants must also submit their curriculum vitae, statement of purpose and a portfolio clearly stating their areas of interest

• Separate hostels are built for boys and girls. The rooms are built spaciously and in an aesthetically pleasing manner to assure a comfortable stay for the students.
• The rooms have good WiFi connectivity.
• Only a certain number of people are assigned to each room to ensure that the boarders have plenty of space.
• Food served is of a high standard. Special food is served on special occasions. And a grand feast is served at the end of every month.
• Indoor sports facilities are available in the hostels for table tennis, carrom, volleyball, badminton, and multi-gym.
• Other infrastructure facilities include shopping facilities, cafeteria, communication centers with STD/ISD and FAX services, and cable connection in the common rooms.
