Academics & Faculty : The college starts with a morning assembly at 8.45 at the main lobby. The classes start at 9am . Each session is for 1 hour with a break at 11am and 3pm . The college lunch break is at 1 pm.

The college lunch break is at 1 pm. Projects : The quality of projects are pretty good And have won many prizes at national levels. one of our teams won 3rd postion at IEEE conference in Callifornia. A good assistance is provided by the faculty. Exams and Assignment : Each subject will have 2 assignements to be taken which we write at the college at the alloted time. Questions are given prior to the day and we need to prepare and then write in the college. A minimum of 3 internal exams are conducted in each semester. Quality and Method of teaching :  The teaching method depends on the faculty. Most of the teachers use power point presentation and digital notes. Each subject is provided with tutorial section and the lecture hours. Quality Rating : 3/5 Overall experience : Faculties are well experienced.  Biotechnology and Biomedical branch have excellent  faculties overall rating : 2.75/5

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria to get into Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology, [SCET] Thrissur is minimum of 70 percent mark in your 12th grade and a decent pass in kerala entrance exam. Altough the college inisist above 85% mark, a student with above 65-70% mark will be admitted with later allotments.   Admission Procedure The college intake 50% of its total students through college merit and the rest through the government merit. college merit The 12th grade mark is given more importance than the entrance exam that you have passed. Government merit As per the government rules the 12th PCM mark and the entrance score is normalized and according to the Ranklist the admission is taken. A rank between 0-45000 is admitted to various branch. If u need preffered branches u need a better rank

Placements & Internships : The Placement oppurtunities is quite less compared to that of other colleges. A very few prominent companies like infosys, IBS do visit. The college claims to have a high percent placement, which are often self earned by the students through any other refferences. The college does not provide any kind of intership programmes. Afterall its optional here in this college.

Fees & Scholarships : The college runs under a Christian management. Hence the fee structure remains according to their agenda with government Annual fee              :     75000 for both the college and the government merit students caution deposit       :     10000 refundable deposit  :     100000  both the refundable and caution amount will be given back after you complete the course hostel fees :        18000 annually mess fess :          3000/ month    Scholarship The college provides scholarship to students with entance rank below 2000 And other scholarships to backward class students. And the college providse assistance to avail other governement scholarships BANK lOAN  The college does well to support students by providing good assistance in availing loans  

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostel : There are 4 UG hostels. 3 for girls and 1 for boys and also 1 pg hostel  3 students aregiven with a room for UG and 1 each for PG. hostel fees 18000 per annum and 3000* for mess. Hostels are neat and clean with wifi provided. PG programmes are good with Mtech in 4 branches and MBA programme The food in college are much hygenic(3.75/5) in comparison to other colleges but the amount per meal is quite high. Qualityy of classrooms , lab and dining hall are good. The college library has a good infrastructure but the books may not meet the needs of the students as the number of books is less. The college campus has WiFi ( not in every block) OVERALL INFRASTRUCTURE  : Exellent infrastructue with 4 academic blocks and a MBA block. A pretty good atmosphere with calm enviornment and good water facilities.    

Clubs & Associations : NSS is strong society acting in the college. There are departmental associations and other technical bodies like IEEE,CSI. No other cultural clubs are supprted in the college. No festivals are supported in the college apart from the technical fest of 2 days celebrated every year. If you are looking for a college with strict rules and only academics you can choose this college. overall rating: good academics            low placements no culturals high amount of fine for each action
