Training & Placement Department
The college already having a good exposure and connection with the present industrial field including marine industry. The placement activities of this college has already been planned so that successful students coming out with B.Tech. degree will immediately absorb in suitable industry with maximum job satisfaction. The necessary seminars and workshops to give better exposure to the students are also in the pipeline.
SEACOM takes great pride in the students it produces - they are knowledgeable, they are skilled, they are confident and they know just where they are going. Helping them get there is the pleasant duty of Placement Division of the SEACOM. With the clear-cut objective of placing all meritorious students before completing their course, the full-fledge Placement Division goes about its work with missionary zeal. It undertakes multi-pronged strategies and focused activities such as presentations, industrial visits, printing and circulation of Placement Bulletins with student profiles, encouraging both campus and off-campus Recruitment Programmes, etc.
A senior faculty member serves as Placement Coordinator and is ably assisted by Placement Officers
Personality development programs are conducted to enhance the soft skills of students. The department of English is lending a helping hand for this program.

Placements & Internships : Only fake companies come here for recruitment....only some of the faculties are good but lab conditions are miserable.....computers don't work properly....power gets cut off continuously....lab faculties use vague words that are not understood properly...
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Please don't take admission in this college.....your Future will be spoiled ....placement conditions are very very poor.....placement department is a liar...they take only some bpo which are also fake...they take a huge amount of money...
Fees & Scholarships : Don't get any hope to receive scholarship...college management only try to suck a huge amount of money from students in the name of placement....they don't give anything back to any student...try to avoid this college.....
Academics & Faculty : Some of the faculties are good.....but now they leave.....in electrical dept some very good faculties were there but now they leave...
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are no arrangements for hostels inside the campus....students have to make arrangements by there own in nearby houses by a high amount of rent...
Clubs & Associations : Some cultural festivals are organized by the college....sports events occur here.....but now the college ground has also been sold as a property...so there is no playground for the college itself...

Placements & Internships : No placements for last 4 years. Fake companies are coming. College management is not good wrt placements.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : One of the worst college under MAKAUT (WBUT). No specific percentage is there you just need money to get admission. I gave WBJEE 2018 exam and after that, wrt my rank I got an entry here
Fees & Scholarships : To get the money they can do anything. No scholarship provided. Extra charges will be taken in the name of job training.
Academics & Faculty : You just need to pay the money to get certificates. One or Two good teachers are there who are very supportive in nature rest all teachers are not that good. I can even take names but I am not doing it here. If you have money you will get a degree from here.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Infrastructure is very good they have a very big ground, Basket Ball court, Gym and table tennis. Hostel facility is only for the students who are studying marine engineering.
Clubs & Associations : When I was in the 1st year, that time SAE and tech clubs were there but now nothing is there. Bengali vs Bihari fights happens every day.

Placements & Internships : I never did any internship through SEC Howrah. The companies that hire from our campus are Infosys, Wipro, TCS. The average salary 320000, the highest salary being Rs.620000. it is good.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria and admission procedure for our course were through JEE Main result. I took jee main as a part of the entrance examination. The typical cutoffs for our course were 25 marks from JEE Main.
Fees & Scholarships : The Course fees are Rs. 70,000. There are some minority scholarship options available to students. There is no loan needed for SEC Howrah.
Academics & Faculty : The classes in SEC Howrah starts from 10 am to 5 pm, per semester, every subject included with projects and assignments, two exams are held per year. The college uses digital technology to teach us. All the students are having a good experience here.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are five hostels near the SEC Howrah campus. The hostels are good and fees are around Rs.3000 per month. The PG's are good also and fees their 2200 per month. The Classrooms, Labs, Libraries, Dining Halls, Wi-Fi are good.
Clubs & Associations : There have many societies, clubs, and associations on the SEC Howrah campus. There are many sports and cultural festivals on the campus. The life in SEC Howrah is pretty good.

Fees & Scholarships : Seacom Engineering College fees is 81,000 rupees annually for general category students. The TFW students have to pay only 8000 rupees annually.
Academics & Faculty : The quality and method of teaching in Seacom Engineering College is outstanding. The class starts at 10 am and ends at 5.30 pm. Teachers are very much helpful. Overall my experience is good in the college.
