Infrastructure

The College has necessary infrastructure for harmonious development of the personality of students. The college has a spacious building, gardens, sprawling lawns and playgrounds. College has state of art fully air conditioned Auditorium, well equipped & fully computerized Library, state of art Gym, well-furnished classrooms, Computer labs, Psychology lab, Food & Technology lab, Seminar hall, Audio Visual room etc. We have a web access centre that is freely accessible by the students. All the labs, seminar hall and 30 classrooms are equipped with projectors. Hostel is in construction at present. well established canteen too with delicious and healthy food.

Also,college provides adequate infrastructure support such as ramp, wheel chairs, washrooms, special pavements for their movement within college premises.

Facilities

Computer Lab

Computer centre in the library has 25 computers with the facility of internet for the students and teaching and non-teaching staff to support academic activities. This centre provides free access to around 2000 journals available through UGC-InfoNET. Students use this facility for completing their project work, assignments and other academic work.

Medical Facility

The College maintains an adequately equipped Medical Room. Every Student is required to undergo a routine medical check-up once a year. A well-qualified physician and a nurse attend to the needs of the students in the college. The Medical Report of the students examined by her is sent to the parents/guardians for their attention. Yearly report of the medical check-up is duly entered in their Identity Cards.

Auditorium

The “Rajiv Gandhi Auditorium” is inaugurated by the then chief minister of Delhi Govt.- Dr. Shiela Dikshit in year 2008. It is one of its own kind in West Delhi. This spacious Auditorium is fully Air condition with all state of Art Facilities. The foundation stone of the college auditorium was laid as part of Silver Jubilee celebrations by Smt. Sonia Gandhi.

We are proud of our college Auditorium. It can accommodate around 1200 people. Many events like Annual day, cultural festival-Srijan, Miss SPM Contest, Dramas, Departmental Fests, seminars etc. have been staged on it.

Canteen

The college provides a comfortable canteen for the students. A variety of snacks and beverges are available at reasonable prices. Students are expected to make cash payment. Outsiders are not permitted in the College Canteen.

Garden

The college boasts of a well maintained garden. The two front lawns adjacent to the college entrance lend a distinctive character to the college. Our garden has brought many laurels to the college in University Competitions. We have numerous species of plants and flowers which provide a colourful heavens and refuge from the bustle of the city's streets.

Ruchika-Vocational Center

To make the prevalent education system more meaningful, the College has introduced a few professional and semi-professional courses under the self financing scheme. This center helps to create confidence among students and prepares them for self-employment. A number of students have benefitted by these courses and have developed their talents.

The center has introduced a few short term and full vocational courses, which enable students to acquire extra accomplishment during their free period or leisure hours. The diploma and certificate courses offered at present are the following:

• Textile designing including Tie & dye;batik, Fabric Painting.

• Cutting and Tailoring.

• Embroidery.

• Dress Desigining & Drafting.

• Beauty culture.

• Secretarial Practice Course(Stenography English).

Bank

The College has Banking facilities on its premises. A branch of Indian Overseas Bank operates in the college.
