The infrastructure is not that awesome but can be bearable.
The library is not that huge. But decent books are available.
Lab facilities are also limited not that good for the mechanical and ppt branch.
A classroom can accommodate 60-70 students comfortably.
Usage of mobile phones is strictly prohibited inside the campus and a fine of ₹2000 is collected from the student.
Wi-Fi facility is available but you won't get enough downloading speed at SIES Graduate School of Technology, Mumbai.
The college has one canteen and one cafeteria. Food is good but only vegetarian food is served.
Right from vada pav to a Frankie everything is available in the canteen.
The minimum price in the canteen is ₹12 and maximum price is ₹80.
Entrance Exams & Admissions :
SIES GRADUATE SCHOOL OF TECHNOLOGY is a TAMIL MINORITY college.
So 50% seats are reserved for native tamilians. So getting admission through minority quota is quite easy.
The eligibility criteria are and will be a valid MAH CET Score or a valid JEE MAIN Score and should get 60% marks in PCM for open candidates and 55% marks in PCM for reserved category.
Once you clear the above exam minority forms, go ONLINE for Tamil students and for other than Tamil students Common Admission Process [CAP] is one of the ways to get in SIES GST.
The way is through institute quota. Three counselling rounds are held on the campus for minority and institute quota.

The placements for the branches CS, EXTC, IT is exceptionally good.
The college holds a placement record of 80% per year.
As the other two branches mechanical and printing packaging technology is just average.
The average salary figure here you get is ₹3.25 lakhs per annum.
The highest salary figure offered is ₹7 lakhs per annum.
The key companies visit SIES GST are L&T, Capgemini, Ingram, TCS, ZYCUS, Directi, GEP, Convonics, Tech Mahindra and much more.
Fees & Scholarships :
The course fee per year for open category student is in between ₹1,10,000 - ₹1,30,000 per year.
For reserved category and TFWS students, the fee is in between ₹15,000 - ₹20,000 per year.
For OBC candidates the fee is in between ₹50,000 - ₹70,000 per year.
For Jammu and Kashmir migrants the fee is in between ₹25,000 - ₹35,000 per year.
Loan for any engineering course is easily available from all leading banks at SIES Graduate School of Technology, Mumbai.
Academics & Faculty :
The college hours is from 9:00am - 5:30pm.
The daily routine is quite hectic.
Lectures and practicals are both conducted daily.
Attendance is a major concern for the students.
It is mandatory to maintain 75% attendance here.
After one month of the college's start date first unit test is conducted and again after one-month second unit test is held.
Assignments vary from branch to branch.
But in general, one has to 4-6 assignments comprising of 2-4 questions per subject.
The quality of teaching is just average here at SIES Graduate School of Technology, Mumbai.
Don't expect highly skilled professors. And one important thing, do not expect question bank for the unit test exams.
The overall experience is good as my batch is good.
Clubs & Associations :
The college has well-established student chapters.
Each chapter is handled by students separately with no involvement of faculty.
There are total five student chapter namely IEEE IETE CSI SAE ISHRAE.
Each student chapter is very much active and conducts workshop and seminars for free or at a nominal cost twice a semester.
Also, there are two fests organised per academic year.
Technical fest COGNITION in the odd semester in the month of September.
In cognition three major events are organised - a national level science Olympiad for First-year students only named as Matrix, a national level technical paper presentation competition named as Texter and a national level project presentation named as innovations++.
Other fun technical events are also organised during 3 days of the fest.
Cultural come Technical fest TATVA MOKSH LAKSHYA (TML) is organised in the even semester in the month of February.
TML comprises of 60+ cultural sports and technical events followed by DJ night on the last day of the fest.
The crowd of SIES is quite enthusiastic. You will find some really brainy people around you.
