Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria that you have already passed 12th with science background in PCM and admission process is through jee main Or ojee. I took admission through jee main. In my year cutoffs rank are -: For outside state 1. Comp. Science engg.- (100k) 2. Electronics and communication engg.- (250k) 3. Electrical and eletronics engg. -(300k) 4. Applied electronics and instruments engg. - (400k) For home state 1. Comp. Science engg.- (200k) 2. Electronics and communication engg.- (350k) 3. Electrical and eletronics engg. -(500k) 4. Applied electronics and instruments engg. - (600k)

Fees & Scholarships : Silicon Institute of Technology, [SIT] Bhubaneswar course fee per year is Rs. 135000 * scholarship is given to the student ( student belongs to Orissa) which have good rank according to branch only that is TFW and Scholarship for the student getting good academic in b.tech (only for the 1st and 2nd position holder in respective branch) in the end of year. *avg. number of students who get scholarship is about 8 student per batch *Is loan needed because fee is quite high. Yes it is easy to take loan from bank

Academics & Faculty : *class timing is from 8 am to 3 pm approx 7 hours including practical and theory class. Two class test is taken per semester and one end semester exam. * about quality of education is average and teaching method is good. *overall I would say that college only focus on the academics instead for engaging students in extra work( like project, arts, games,)

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : *there are three hostels, two for the boy and one for the girl. Hostels are good. Hostel fee is about Rs. 2700 * PGs and other courses is quite a bit low in academics in comparison to SIT BBSR. And their cost is low * Food is good to eat but not as home food. Cost of the meal is about Rs 100 per day it varies according to breakfast lunch and dinner. *Quality of classroom is average, lab very well equipped, library enough books to study and well organised tables, dinning Halls is good, NO wi- fi service for hostel and classroom present only in particular area and about the infrastructure is organised well

Clubs & Associations : * student societies is very helpful, club is also here but present in very little amount clubs are not interested in tech fields. * the main festival is tech fest called as zygon. * boring life only study to get good marks
