Entrance Exams & Admissions : Silicon Institute of Technology BBSR is the best option for students of not only Odisha but also for Jharkhand and Bihar. The college is ranked 5 in career 360. Every student of engineering nowadays is worried that we will get any job or not, there are many rumors about engineering, but this college not only gives you the best faculty and also 100 percent placement. The eligible criteria is to attend OJEE or All India JEE Main and attend OJEE councelling also mandatory. This college has very good infrastructure and facilities like hostels, gardens, playgrounds, labs, workshops, clubs, etc. The closing and approx cutoff for the 2020 year for odisha state students was 3lak, and outside students cutoff was 1 lak (case branch). Overall, this college is the best in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The total fees is 4,6000, which is very affordable and about the mess it is good about, and students like it.

Fees & Scholarships : Silicon Institute of Technology, [SIT] Bhubaneswar Engineering Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 1.8 lakh per year. I don't think there are any scholarship options available because no such exams are conducted for scholarship purpose or something like that. Yes, most of the students are studying by taking a study loan. Even my parents have also taken the same from UCO Bank.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get into Silicon Institute of Technology, the college had a specific cut-off JEE Main ranks for its every branch. But to get into its B. Tech degree we had to first appear for JEE Main exams and through its rank, we could get into this college. Among the list of all Private colleges under Jee this was one of the best you can get. My branch is Electronics and Communication Engineering which I got through my Jee rank and this branch's cut-off is around 4-6 lakhs.
Placements & Internships : I am in the 2nd year right now and haven't done any internships but will be doing sooner. Mostly IT companies come to our campus for placements of the students and hiring them. Most of the students get placed in some of the other company.
Academics & Faculty : Class timing is a good but very hectic schedule. Small projects we have been doing with our teachers' help. Semester Exams are conducted under the Biju Pattnaik University of Technology. Internal exams and assignments are taken by our college at the right time. Quality and method of teaching is good and as far as I have heard is much better than the rest of the private and government colleges. So in all aspects, our college is not at all bad.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Our college has 3 hostels- 1 Girl's Hostel and 2 Boy's Hostel. Hostels can be more well maintained on regular basis and it's infrastructure should be improved more. We should have provisions of having Ac & Non-Ac hostels. And the size of rooms we have in our hostel, 2 people should share a room instead of 3. Hostel fee is Ok. I have no idea about the PGs outside college. Food of our college is Ok kind not much good, can be better. Per month our canteen is around Rs. 2700-3000, which is high according to me. Our college should improve its infrastructure especially of the class rooms of our department. The condition of our classrooms are highly disappointing. Labs are good and well equipped. Library is good but I belief atleast a Library should AC if not the classrooms. Non-veg canteen Dining hall should be kept more hygienic. Wi-fi is another major thing which our college lacks and need to provide to the students.
Clubs & Associations : Our college has different clubs for a different purpose. It has Students council, clubs such as Music club, Theatre club, Creative Club, Meta-Academics, placement cell, TedX association, and our hostel has a Campus-kife Coordination Committee and many more. Our college conducts lots of events with the help of these clubs such as Rhythmnova (a musical night), Cultural nite, MUNs, Annual sports and the annual fest of our college- Noesis (Tech-fest) & Zygon (Cultural festival). Life in Silicon is good if you have got some talents to showcase and have got something in you to get recognition in this college. And with friends college life is amazing.

Placements & Internships : *Internships I had done internship in software. *In my college most of the student get hired by IT service company like Infosys, TCS, wipro etc * here avg. salary is about 3-3.5 lacs per year which is common in IT company Highest salary is 8lac in year 2019 About 60 to 70 % getting placed here
Academics & Faculty : *class timing is from 8 am to 3 pm approx 7 hours including practical and theory class. Two class test is taken per semester and one end semester exam. * about quality of education is average and teaching method is good. *overall I would say that college only focus on the academics instead for engaging students in extra work( like project, arts, games,)
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : *there are three hostels, two for the boy and one for the girl. Hostels are good. Hostel fee is about Rs. 2700 * PGs and other courses is quite a bit low in academics in comparison to SIT BBSR. And their cost is low * Food is good to eat but not as home food. Cost of the meal is about Rs 100 per day it varies according to breakfast lunch and dinner. *Quality of classroom is average, lab very well equipped, library enough books to study and well organised tables, dinning Halls is good, NO wi- fi service for hostel and classroom present only in particular area and about the infrastructure is organised well

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee for BTech is 1,10,000 excluding the canteen & hostel fees. And there is a scholarship of 10,000 per years for scoring 9 CGPA for a year and are given scholar club certificate. On average only 10-12 students from each branch get the scholarship.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for Silicon Institute of Technology differs from branch to branch, but it basically depends on the rank of the applicant in JEE Mains. Usually, Computer Science branch has higher cut-offs then EEE, ECE, AEI. For CS the branch cut off goes around 1,50,000 to 2,75,000. Rest for all other branches any rank within 4,50,000 will do.
Placements & Internships : The majority of the companies that come here for placement are from IT sector. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Mindtree, Mindfire, Mahindra, Bosch come for campus placement. Usually the package lies around 3,00,000 to 5,00,000. And the highest package goes around 5,50,000. Around 60-65% of placement is done on-campus and rest relies on an off-campus pool. College and Alumni go hand to hand and support in times of need of sponsorships for events & placements.
Academics & Faculty : The class timing is quite hectic for first 3 years. Most of the time goes in projects, exams, surprise test, assignments & at importantly attendance. The only thing is that most of the teachers here teach very passionately, although nobody appreciates if a student bunks the classes. The overall experience is very good.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 2 hostels for boys & 1 hostel for girls and the fee per month for the hostel is around 5,000. There aren't much PG's around the college. Rooms are plentiful in the hostel itself. The food is kind of OK if compared to some other colleges at the price range. It's 35 for breakfast and 60 for lunch and dinner per meal. The library is good here, you can find almost any book as per your need. Labs are well equipped. Classrooms are clean and well ventilated. There's restricted access to wifi.
Clubs & Associations : There are a lot of clubs in the college but the most active clubs being the Music Club, Fitness club, Cricket Club, Robotics Club, Circuit Club, and most importantly IEEE. One of the major events in the college is NOESIS, it is a techno-cultural fest which usually is organized by the end of February month. Life in the college is peaceful and u may get opportunities to participate workshops and other events to hone your skills and build your CV through certificates.
