CULTURAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES

The Institute has Engineer’s Activity Club under which there are many student clubs and student societies designed for the development of our students. They are managed by the students themselves and nurture their creative and cultural talents. The Institute also helps to organize and promote theater and dance club workshops for interested students.

Our College develops and prepare the students for inter college and intra college cultural activities.Which helps to develop and nurture the talent of the students.

With systematic and generous support from the corporate community and the overwhelming participation of students from all over India,every year we conduct our Cultural Fest called Technokriti.

LIBRARY FACILITIES

SIIT’s Central Library having many items of academic interest including text books, reference books, scientific and technical journals (National & International), along with electronic and audio-visual resources. Students have full access to the complete range of library resources with speedy delivery system between the departments. E-Library facility is also available in the College Campus.

All members of the college are encouraged to suggest books for purchase, and staff are happy to help locate useful resources in print or digital formats and to provide access and assistance with the use of archives, manuscripts and special collections.

The library has an open access system and all the shelves are properly cited with subject citations. Material for reading is to be carried by the members themselves. Help of the library staff can be asked to take out out-of-reach volumes.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

At SIIT Engineering College, we have a wide range of IT enabled services being made available to students, including high-speed Internet facility for the whole campus. We are also rolling wireless connectivity across the campus. All new students will be provided with an email account and a free training for major software applications in the beginning.

The Information Technologies Support Services program emphasizes hands-on learning via labs, simulators and projects.

The demand for talented, competent IT professionals is tremendous. you’re assured of an education that will give you the credentials you need to get ahead.

CLASS ROOMS

Spacious, amphitheater style classrooms provide a supportive environment for dynamic and focused group discussion. Excellent technical design of these structures helps to support an effective delivery of lecture which is further augmented by integrated audio-visual teaching aid for any special purpose lectures, guest presentations, etc.

WORKSHOPS AND LABORATORIES

SIIT has state of the art laboratories and workshops. Our up to date infrastructure acts as an effective facilitator for the delivery of the planned curriculum. There are more than 60 different laboratories and workshops to nurture the talent of our students.

The college has a well-equipped workshop where students learn about basic manufacturing methods. Every student prepares jobs in all the shops with his/her own hands under the guidance of experienced faculty and technicians.

MEDICAL FACILITIES

Often a healthy body makes a healthy mind. To ensure student well being, Campus has a primary health care center with regular visit of a physician. Campus also has 24 hours mobile-van designed and well equipped to attend to any medical emergencies and to provide any ambulance service, if needed by the residents in the college campus.
First-Aid and sick room is set up in the academic building.  The management would provide periodical medical check ups with a team of doctors for the benefit of the students.

HOSTEL FACILITIES

RAGGING FREE CAMPUS

SIIT Engineering College, Jaipur is a 100% Ragging free Campus and Hostel. In view of the directions of the Honorable Supreme Court in SLP No. 24295 of 2006 dated 16-05-2007 and in Civil Appeal number 887 of 2009, dated 08-05-2009 to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging including any conduct by any student whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing of handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student.

SPORTS AND GAMES

“Health is wealth”- a pithy maxim, those who have valued its importance pay heed to maintain their health. Apart from a balanced diet, sports are also necessary to keep ourselves fit. As truly said “All work and no play, make jack a dull boy“. This proverb not only applies to Jack but for all of us. Thus, sports play a vital role in maintaining our health and physical fitness.

Games should be played in true spirit irrespective of winning and losing. The indoor and outdoor games facilities are available in campus like: Volleyball, Cricket, Foot Ball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Carom, LAN Gaming.
