Eligibility Criteria at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University:

Course	Eligibility
MDS	The applicant seeking admission must possess MBBS/BDS degree from this university or any other recognised university
B.Sc	Applicants seeking admission must have passed Higher Secondary College with at least 40% marks with English, physics, chemistry and biology as subjects from any recognised university to be considered eligible for admission.
M.Sc- Nursing	Applicants seeking admission must possess a degree in B.Sc (Nursing) from this University or any other recognised university with minimum 55% of aggregate marks and 50% marks for (SC/ST) candidates.
	Applicants seeking admission should be a registered nurse and midwife of any state nursing council with one year experience after graduation.
	Applicants seeking admission should be 17 years and above. No upper age limit is prescribed.
B.Sc Nursing	Applicants seeking admission must possess diploma in nursing with a minimum duration of three and half years from this university or any recognised university after completion of HSC or (10+2) equivalent to be considered eligible for admission.
B.Sc Nursing	Applicants seeking admission should be registered nurse and midwife with or without the experience of PHN in the hospital/ institutions after registration in state nursing council to be considered eligible for admission.

Selection of the eligible candidates to the above-mentioned courses is done on the basis of SVBDU common entrance test conducted by the university.

Cutoffs at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University:

The cutoff for various courses at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University are not predetermined. It is determined after considering a number of factors. The criteria to determine the cutoffs are:

The number of applications received for a particular course.
The number of seats available.
The difficulty of the entrance test.
The performance of the candidates in the entrance test.
The cut off may also be sectional.

Hostel Facilities at Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University:

The university campus has a well structured and separate hostels for Boys and Girls.
