The College awards scholarships to deserving and needful students. Funding of these scholarships are from contributions made by the Governing Body, existing and former faculty members and also our alumni. Some of these scholarships are named in dedication of departed family members. A noble way of keeping their memories alive. Below we list scholarships given by the college:

The Smitha Menon Memorial Award The Smitha Menon memorial award was instituted by the father of late Smitha Menon, a student of BA (H) English III Yr who unfortunately died in Sept 1999 due to Menangitis. A sum of Rs. 20,000/- was deposited as a Fixed Deposit in the college bank account. The interest from this amount is given to a student of English (H) who preforms well in the University Examinations and has contributed to the College English Department. It is important to mention here that Smitha Menon was a first divisioner in all the examinations she took till she died. The award winner gets Rs. 2,500/-.

The S Gagandeep Singh Anand Memorial Scholarship The S Gagandeep Singh Anand Memorial Scholarship instituted in 2007-08 session by the Honourable Treasurer S. Iqbal Singh Anand in memory of his nephew, who was an extremely talented, young computer engineer and a promising entrepreneur. This scholarship will be given to students with excellent academic record. Selected student gets Rs. 21,000/-, a gold medal and a trophy.

The Dr. Rattan Singh Anand Memorial Scholarship The Dr. Rattan Singh Anand Memorial Scholarship instituted in 2007-08 session by the Honourable Treasurer S Iqbal Singh Anand in memory of his father. The scholarship will be given to two students - one who is best in kirtan recitation and another who is the best cricketer of the year. Each selected student gets Rs. 11,000/- and a trophy.

The Prof. Labh Singh Memorial Scholarship The Prof. Labh Singh Memorial Scholarship instituted by Ms Madan, wife of the Vice Principal S Jaspal Singh in memory of her father, to be given to the 2nd best student in Kirtan recitation. Selected student gets Rs. 5,000/- and a memento.

The S Gurbax Singh Bhasin Memorial Scholarship The S Gurbax Singh Bhasin Memorial Scholarship given to Best All Round Student of the College. Selected student gets Rs. 5,000/- and a memento.

The G L Sikka Memorial Scholarship The Mr. G L Sikka Memorial Scholarship given to the Best Student in Academics. Selected student gets Rs. 5,000/- and a memento.

The G L Sikka Memorial Scholarship The Mr. G L Sikka Memorial Scholarship given to the Best Student in Sports. Selected student gets Rs. 5,000/- and a memento.

The Mrs Kauran Rooprai Memorial Scholarship The Mrs Kauran Rooprai Memorial Scholarship instituted in 2007-08 session by Lakhmir Singh of English Department in memory of his mother is given to the Best Student in English. Selected student gets Rs. 5,000/- and a memento.

The Dr. Sameer Agrawal Memorial Scholarship The Dr. Sameer Agrawal Memorial Scholarship instituted by Dr. Veena Agrawal from Department of Hindi in memory of her son, given to the Best All Round Student of Hindi. Selected student gets Rs. 5,000/- and a memento.

The Gagandeep and Harpreet Singh Memorial Scholarship The Gagandeep and Harpreet Singh Memorial Scholarship sponsored by Mr. Jagjit Singh of Chemistry department in the memory of his sons for the deserving, meritorious and needy students of any academic stream.

The Ranjit Kaur Dham Memorial Scholarship The Ranjit Kaur Dham Memorial Scholarship instituted S P.S. Dham of the Department of Economics in the memory of his wife for best performance in Economics, Sports or Divinity.

The Sharda Trivedi Scholarship The Sharda Trivedi Scholarship initiated by late Dr P.C.Trivedi of the Department of Physics in the memory of his wife Mrs Sharda Trivedi. It is given to the meritorious and deserving students in Maths and Science streams.

The Prof. Durga Prabodh Singh Memorial Scholarship The Prof. Durga Prabodh Singh Memorial Scholarship given to the Best Student in Chemistry. Selected student gets Rs. 2,000/- and a memento.

The S. Abnash Singh Nijjor Scholarship The S. Abnash Singh Nijjor Scholarship given to the Best Hockey Player.Selected student gets Rs. 3,000/- and a memento.

The Dr. S S Gulshan Scholarship The Dr. S S Gulshan Scholarship given to the Outstanding Student in Commerce. Selected student gets Rs. 2,500/- and a memento.

The Lala Amarnath Memorial Scholarship The Lala Amarnath Memorial Scholarship instituted by Cricketer Mohinder Amarnath in memory of his father, given to Best Cricketer. Selected student gets Rs. 2,500/- and a memento.
