Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore was established in the year 1994 by SNR Sons Charitable Trust. It has received approval from AICTE. It is also accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council as a NAAC with 'A' grade Institute and the NBA.

The SREC admission can be done online on the official website and admissions are based on merit. SREC is an autonomous college that offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
