Library

The central library of SCET presently covers a total user area of 1264 sqm, with a seating capacity of 350 in three floors. In ground floor we are maintaing Digital Library, E-Library, and 1st floor Circulation section, journals, News papers & Magazines, reprographic service, question papers. In 2nd floor Reference books,projects reports. The total no. of Titles are 5252 and the no. of volumes are 35007. The books are classified and arranged according to the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) scheme and "OPEN ACCESS" system is followed. The library has computerized catalogue along with manual catalogue to find out the availability of books. Students are allowed to go to the racks to pick the required books for their issue through bar-coding system. Students are allowed to use the reference books in the library. Reading and Group discussion tables are provided in the second floor to carry out the academic activity along with the staff members. Digital Library is provided in the ground floor and the video lectures are available in the server along with 60 terminals for the usage of students. With Wi fi, connectivity in the campus, the students can access the video lectures from anywhere in the campus. We subscribed IEL and ASME on-line journals (National & International) from GIST, Gurgone, Haryana.

Hostel & Canteen

SWARNANDHRA is providing separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls, the present strength of the student community is 780.  The objective of the Hostel is to provide suitable and comfortable accommodation for students. The two hostels are supervised by the experienced wardens and caretakers whose keen observation and guidance enables the staff to discharge their duties effectively, while continuously maintaining discipline among the residents. These hostel are provided with sophisticated EPABX system, which allows the students to converse with their parents The college has provided a facilities like STD KIOSK, Xerox center and cooperative stores for the usage of students. Delicious and Notorious Veg. & Non. Veg. food under hygienic conditions is provided for students at Lunch & Dinner. The college has a canteen within the campus catering to the needs of the students and staff. All bakery items, Tiffin and meals are provided at reasonable prices The college has got its own Mineral Water Plant for the supply of Protected Water round the clock. The college is equipped with one 250 KVA & two 82.5 capacity generator of kirloskar make for uninterrupted power supply.

Sports & Gym

The college has two Multi Gymnasiums separately for Boys & Girls which consist of 12 Station namely

• Weight lifting stands and Dumbles
• Vibration Machine
• Steam Bath 

College is also providing facilities for indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess & Caroms etc. College has Play grounds for Cricket, Foot ball, Shuttle badminton, Volley Ball Tenne koit and Basket ball.
Regular tournaments in Sports & Games are conducted as per schedule intercollegiate and inter university tournaments are conducted as per the schedule given by university. Students are also encouraged to participate in various sports according to their interest.

Transport

Swarnandhra College of Engineering & Technology has 66 Buses, to provide commutation facility for the students and staff from various parts of the town and also from the neighboring villages and also from some of the near by towns. Most of the students make the best usage of the college transport facility. In addition one Indica Car, Ambulance and Tata ace are available to cater to the college & campus requirements.
The student friendly facility has made it possible to start the classes in time and there by for the smooth functioning of the academic process. This has enabled the college to drive home the importance of punctuality and discipline among students.

Computer Center

Students are permitted to access the modern air-conditioned computer centre from 8:00am to 8:00pm. There are over 980 high end computers and 9 servers. All the departments are interconnected through LAN in Wi-Fi environment. High speed dedicated internet connectivity with 10Mbps band width is available in the campus for the usage of staff and students.

WiFi Campus

The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled with a high speed internet connection to allow the students to access the internet no-matter wherever they are. The coverage of Wi-Fi is not only restricted to class rooms but also extends to all the areas including library, Seminar Halls, cafeteria, and hostels. 

The campus was provided with to Wi-Fi environment through Siemens with 54 mbps IEEE 802.1g network standards. In order to avail local server with e-library, all server based labs such as Oracle, IBM Rational Rose, IBM AIX server, Aptitude and career lab, English language lab, MAT Lab are connected along with Internet facility. Siting at any place in the campus students can access all the above lab contents.
