Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering(LBRCE) was founded through Lakireddy Bali Reddy charitable trust in 1998 by eminent philanthropist and NRI Entrepreneur Sri Lakireddy Bali Reddy, a Chemical Engineer by qualification. Since the inception, LBRCE aims at co-creating value-based technical excellence, which ultimately leads to the development of the rural area where the college is situated.

From a modest intake of 180 students across four engineering programs in B.Tech, namely ECE, CSE, EEE and ME, LBRCE, in less than 2 decades, it has grown into an institution of gigantic proportions with massive infrastructure, besides multitude of students, faculty & staff. At present, the institute offers 8 B.Tech programmes in CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, ME, CE, ASE & EIE, 4 M.Tech programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Power Electronics and Drives & VLSI & Embedded systems, in addition to M.B.A and M.C.A programmes. LBRCE Admission is done both on the basis of merit and donation.

LBRCE has a vibrant campus spread over 60 acres of serene and natural surroundings with plenty of greenery in Mylavaram, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. It has world class infrastructure in all its academic departments, besides an asthetically-designed administrative block, covering 7085 Sq.mt.The admissions to the college depends upon LBRCE Results. The major facilities include AC Auditorium, AC Conference room, well-equipped laboratories, free internet with 530 Mbps leased line, a Library server with 4.5 TB back up space, banking facility by Central Bank of India with ATM facility, alternate Power supply with two generator sets of capacity 375 kVA & 250 kVA; and an multi-cuisine canteen to cater to the needs of students and staff.

Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering Admission Procedure:

Admission into UG and PG programs of the Institution is based on State level Common entrance test conducted by the Govt. of A.P. 
The details are as follows.
For U.G Programmes : - for UG programmes, admission of the students into various programs of the institution is based on State level Common Entrance test, EAMCET /ECET, conducted by Government of A.P
For P.G Programmes :- Enrolment of the students into MBA/MCA courses is based on the  state level common Entrance test, ICET, conducted by the Government of A.P
Enrollment of the students in M.Tech programs is based on PGECET conducted by the Government of A.P and all India GATE exam.
There are two categories in admission process.
Category A :- for both U.G and P.G programs 70% seats based on the common entrance test conducted by government of A.P
Category B :- 30% of the seats are filled under Management / NRI category as per the norms / regulations prescribed by the A.P Technical education department.

Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering Facilities include a hostel for all the students.

Girls' Hostel:

The College has a comfortably designed and well built girls hostel right in the center of Mylavaram town about one KM away from the college. The total builtup area of the Hostel including Mess, Dining, Recreation Hall and other facilities is of the order of 25,000 sft. The Hostel can accommodate about 300 students with excellent mess facilities and acilities like STD Booth, Fancy & Toiletries stores catering to the needs of hostellers. The Hostel is equipped with solar water heating systems for providing hot water to the students throughout the year. Sporting facilities like Shuttle, Badminton, Tennicoit Courts and indoor games like Caroms, Dart Boards, Chequers, Table Tennis are provided for the physical well being and mental relaxation of the students. A separate hall for TV viewing on Saturdays, Sundays and Public holidays is provided for the recreation of hostellers. Two buses are exclusively provided for the transportation of the students from hostel to the college.

Boys' Hostel:

Excellent Hostel facilities for Boys is being provided from the academic year 2003-2004 with accommodation forabout 300 students. The Hostel situated at the adjoining property to the college and is provided with all modern facilities including solar water heating systems for the convenience of hostellers. The hostel has a modern kitchen & dining hall and also recreation area for viewing TV and reading newspapers / magazines. The students can make use of the excellent sporting facilities provided in the campus and can relax in the beautifully landscaped garden in the college campus since the hostel is situated right next door.
