Placements & Internships : Alumni Association meetings are held since it's inception in 2004. All the outgoing students are life members of this Association. Alumni Proficiency award will be given by the Rank Holders and toppers of each branch. Training, Placement and Career Guidance The Career Guidance & Placement Unit (CGPU) of the college is working as a team under the leadership of the Coordinator, the Committee Members of each Department and a batch of dedicated students. The students of the college are getting regular placements in many multinational companies like TCS, IBM, INFOSYS, UST GLOBAL, WIPRO, IBS, SPERIDIAN, CTS etc. The CGPU sends the College brochure to the selected companies inviting them for Campus Recruitment. The Companies may inform the CGPU, the details of their requirement for recruitment. The Unit will provide all necessary facilities required for briefing, pre-placement talks, conducting written tests, group discussions, and interview. The Unit helps students in arranging vacation training and project work in Industries. This acts as an Industry-Institute linkage for conducting personality development and technical seminars for students. The Unit also provides soft skill training prior to the campus recruitment process. This initiates steps for getting placement in industries.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admissions to Merit and Management seats at UCE, Trivandrum will be through allotment by the CET. No SC/ST Students will be given consideration for allotment to management seats. The NRI seats will be filled up by the University inviting applications. The applicants do not necessarily have to be in the CEE's Rank List. Applications forms can be downloaded from the website www.ucek.in. The application form along with Pay-in-Slip for Rs.100/- should be remitted at the University Cash Counter in favour of The Principal, University College of Engineering, Karyavattom, at the college office.

Academics & Faculty : The daily routine at UCE begins with the classes starting at 9:00am till 4:00pm. For the 1st year students, the university conducts the exams yearly with 2 series test in between. For the rest of the year, the university exams are conducted semester wise with 2 series test each semester. Assignments are counted as internal assessment marks for students.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Currently, UCE doesn't support hostel facilities. The canteen serves good food at cheaper rates too.

Clubs & Associations : The main festival at our campus is Snidha. The whole college unites to celebrate one day with orphan kids with gifts and lots of pleasure for them. We also celebrate Onam, Diwali, Christmas, etc.
