Eligibility Criteria at University Institute of Engineering and Technology, [UIET] Kanpur:

Eligibility Criteria for B.tech:

For Regular (4 years):

• The candidate should have passed 10+2 in CBSE or its equivalent examination with individual pass in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry.
• The candidate should have an average of minimum 50 %.
• The candidate should have appeared in Entrance Examination i.e, UPTU/AKTU.
• The candidate should also have a rank declared which is valid.

Eligibility Criteria for BCA:

• The candidate should have passed 10+2 in CBSE or its equivalent examination with individual pass in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry.
• The candidate should have an average of minimum 50 %.
• The candidate should have appeared in University Entrance Examination.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA:

• The candidate should have passed Graduation from a recognized university in any discipline.
• The candidate should have an average of minimum 50%.
• The candidate should have Mathematics at 10+2 level.
• The candidate should have appeared in Entrance Examination i.e, UPTU/AKTU.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc:

• The candidate should have Bachlor's Degree in Science (Special or General with Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Electronics, Computer Science, Agriculture Science, Life Science, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, Physics)
• The candidate should have an average of minimum 50%.
• The candidate should have appeared in University Entrance Examination.
• Relaxation for General/OBC and 5% for SC/ST.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Phil:

• The candidate should have Master Degree in Science (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or any stream).
• The candidate should have an average of minimum 50%.
• The candidate should have appeared in University Entrance Examination.

Application Process for BCA, B.Tech, MCA, M.phil, M.Sc:

• Candidates should click on the Admission Procedure tab
• Apply Online page will appear, Candidates need to fill the form.
• The candidate should first fill in his/her Personal details.
• The candidate should fill in details about his/her Educational Background.
•  The candidate needs to pay online application fee.

Admission Process for B.Tech, MCA:

• The Admission process is through UPTU/AKTU
• Candidate should have UPTU/AKTU Allotment Letter.
• Candidate should have seat confirmation fee receipt & Admit Card (If Seat allotment through UPTU/AKTU counseling).
• Candidate should have Rank Letter of Entrance Exam(UPTU/AKTU) (If Admitted direct at College Level).
• Candidate should have 10th Mark Sheet & Passing Certificate.
• Candidate should have 12th Mark Sheet & Passing Certificate.
• Candidate should have Graduation Mark Sheet & Passing Certificate (MCA).

Admission Process for BCA,M.Sc, M.Phil:

• The Admission process is through University Entrance Examination.
• Candidate should have to clear University Entrance Examination.
• Candidate should have the Rank Letter of University Entrance Examination.
• Candidate should have the Original Mark Sheet & Passing Certificate.
